Toyota CEO: "Our NEW Hydrogen Engine Will Destroy The EV Industry!"
Toyota has long been recognised for its competence in hybrid and fuel-efficient vehicles, and the introduction of this new engine underlines the company's status as a pioneer in automotive innovation. We'll look at the specifications and features of Toyota's new engine, comparing it to electric powertrains in terms of performance, efficiency, and environmental effect. By emphasising the benefits of Toyota's engine technology, we hope to provide viewers with a thorough grasp of how the company stands apart in the intensely competitive automobile market.
Join us as we explore Toyota CEO Koji Sato's unveiling of the new engine technology, providing insights into its potential to disrupt the EV sector and change the future of vehicle mobility.

Don’t worry the EV market is self destructing.

I am getting sick of such video. The whole idea of EV is because it is the simplest and most affordable. Making something more complex and more expensive is a dead end!

EV's would be the most polluting option, as the batteries are a short term solution. At their end of life, we have no solution as to their disposal and/or clean up. It is the most expensive and complex answer to implement EV's,

Simple and affordable? What a joke

@@TheNyhm1 EV has only battery and motor. The number of parts are significantly less than the ICE car. That is a fact. US sells EV as a premium brand but it isn't the case for the rest of the world. Typically the same EV in China, say a VW ID3, cost twice in Europe and is even more in the US. It is the west who want to screw the consumers and that is a fact too. It is not a joke but reality. You may not even know EV owners do not have to visit the filling station "permanently"! If they get charged up the cost is cheaper than gasoline.

You are going to expend more energy separating the hydrogen and oxygen than you will get from combining them in an internal combustion engine, which generates a significant amount of useless heat (cannot beat the Carnot cycle in thermodynamics 101). Looks like you have no clue as to what you are talking about.

Toyota does the most wide-ranging R&D in the business, and they don't pour money down dark money pits...

@@markharlock6474 The physics is simple and irrefutable. Otherwise, you would have a perpetual motion machine. Something is wrong with author's understanding of how the engine works.

Hydrogen will not "destroy" EVs for the simple fact that the EV has an advantage, that you can refuel at home or anywhere. Even from solar power. Hydrogen will always require a petroleum-like infrastructure like we have today, so it will never be as cheap to operate.

Not if you can store a small amount in a canister to ignite and start the engine.after that the engine will produce on demand from the water.its a very simple process! Ev's are still fossil fueled where does the majority of the electricity get produced. Hydrogen is cleaner by far.
