Thanks Millie 💙😎💙 Yeh it was time to freshen the banner up so we made it during our two week quarantine, just wanted something a bit newer, you know?!? It’s nice that someone noticed, so thank you 😘 After 4 house renovations, Brendan is full of great tips and tricks so hopefully these vids, from building the bus, can be of use for someone out there. We know we’ve learnt a lot watching these types of vids and you never know what will help until you know. Have you enjoyed doing the house? (Which by the way, I’ve been loving🖤)
🤣🤣🤣 I don’t think it’s intentional at all, After spending time together in Adelaide we’ve definitely heard, “let’s crack straight into it!” more times than I can count 😅 Something I have learnt is that we say a lot of similar phrases, I’m not sure where they came from but it always makes us giggle hearing someone else talk similar to us. Must just be our Aussie lingo 🦘 Have you noticed that or is it just me?
Thanks guys, it’s really special to us too! Having lost mates in the last 12 months has really made us want to speak openly about looking after ourselves and each other. It’s really lovely having a constant reminder, in something as simple as a bus name and we hope it resonates with other who’s paths we cross 💙 Are you guys up to anything exciting at the moment?

We can’t wait to do a whole bunch of stuff we have planned that we’ve had sidelined while the latest surges of cases have unfolded in South Aus, exciting times ahead!!

@@GinandRing my plan for 2022 is to try and visit you both so I can try and stay in your bus haha. Maybe one day when its finished. Make sure there’s a spare room 😀

Good name for the bus. Works on a couple different levels. Good info about fixing up old cars/busses etc. Will be interesting to see as the project progresses.

But it's definitely coming alone

And that we can bounce off one another during the rebuild process. How far away are you from getting started??? And trust me there’s nothing ‘povo’ about up-cycling an older van! They have spirit and character and leave you with more 💰 to do the adventurous stuff!!!!! What type of van are you looking for?
@@GinandRing we need an expander type my son is huge lol tall I mean. We are looking at paramount extenders or Windsor rapids I’m going to look at one today hopefully fits the bill could be fun fixing it up you guys are inspiring me
@@Wildernessadventuresoz Thats awesome, its so great to hear we've inspired someone!!!! By no means is it easy but you just need to have a plan and keep putting one foot in front of the other! We talked about buying one complete, but the latest surge in vans prices pushed the price into what we deem, unreasonable, mainly because even buying prebuilt, we needed to change a number of things in every van we came to. So eventually it just made more sense to do it ourselves. Even then it was a super tough market, people buying sight unseen, pricing kept getting jacked up and ultimately it came down, once again, to someone we now, having a bus we could work with. When things settle down a little, we were thinking about doing a meet up in Adelaide... would you guys come if we made a picnic date?
