I have an 8th gen Corolla, I’ve owned it since May 2019 and it’s super reliable, first car I’ve learned how to drive stick and it’s the first car I’ve bought. Got it for $800 and it has 153K on it
I owned a '74 Corolla SR5, a '94 Corolla sedan, and a '90 Corolla coupe. My '74 was nasty-wild Isky cam, headers, 4-barrel, widened SR5 rims out back 13x5 w/ beauty rings. I miss her.
I had a 77 KE30 with a transplanted motor from my 71TE,. 2T-C bored .030 over due to scarred cylinder wall, Cannnon Inductions Sytems camshaft, Clifford header, Weber 32/36. Fun fun machine right? Remember that nasty idle from the big cam. Back when I had mine people flipped when they heard it.
I've had 3 Corollas a 71 TE20, a 77 KE30, and an 87 AE86 which I dearly miss and really wish I had back. In fact I wish I had them all back. All I've ever driven are Toyotas
I believe this is limited to the US/Canada market. And only one example per year. If it included the variants plus JDM, South American, European, Asian, and Australian versions, the video would be over an hour long. Though interesting.
Literally everyone in this comment is wrong. The GT-S IS an AE86. The United States received two versions of the AE86. The GT-S with a 4A-GE, and the SR5 with a 4A-C. We received the Trueno model with the option of a Coupe or Hatch. Japan had many different versions, including a GT-V, GT-APEX, SR, SE, XL, etc. Takumi had a Zenki Trueno Hatchback.
One of the most RELIABLE well made cars EVER BUILT! Disagree all you like i do not care, the fact of the is the Corolla has held most reliable for many many many years and probably will continue to do so!!
I owned three 2nd generation Corolla wagons. To this day I find they were the best designed, most reliable cars I've ever owned. Too bad most of them have been crushed.
I have the 1999 Toyota Corolla purple original I have . 19 years . Mike Corolla I use it everyday on 20/20 is still running like a baby. USA California baby
I drive a black 2018 Toyota Corolla sedan, and I really love it! As a matter of fact, I really love the Toyota Corolla sedans from 1975 to the present!
Thanks for great information about Toyota Corolla dear I'm huge fan of Toyota Corolla cars it's wunderfull company who developed herself by great hard working and present her models in different Shapes
cara meu carro tem minha idade!...........gostei dos modelo 1990,1985 e 1986.........big like.....parabens pelo video e a coletanea de um dos carros mais queridos que existe
Agree. I think the Scions stole all the fun 2 door, hatch and wagon fun away. A 2 door GT or SR5 would give the Civic 2 door versions a run for their money.
The Corolla is one of the longest lasting cars that can make it to 400,000 miles with the proper maintenance. Congrats man. I own a 95 Corolla DX. 200,000+ miles and still runs like a clock!
Im a big Corolla fan 😎 3:43 my favourite type of the AE86 ♥️ and btw its called a coupe and not a liftback and the 3 door 86 is called the hatchback And btw... You missed the AE111, my favourite corolla
Love the soundtrack. But there are lots of Corollas missing. Moreover I'm not sure of the accuracy of the years for some models. Corollas are indestructible cars. Overall great video.👍🏿
My brother owned a 2nd gen, I think it was a '72 model, in the late 80s. Was very clean and ran well. He thought it would become collectable, but economy cars never seem to be collectable, do they? After they get over 25 years old, you can't get parts anymore.
I own a 11th gen (face-lift) altis bought it like 5 days ago and I have have agree, it looks gorgeous and heck, even fast for me, it's luxurious for its price and I call it a bang for buck, it's beautiful in phantom brown colour and I recommend it, I see why toyota is considered as a good manufacturer
Missing here a late 90's model that my dad still owns. He has the sedan, but there was a WRC version of it with a short rear and round front headlights
All cars I have being purchased in my life were Toyota Corolla's 1. Corolla 1983 sedan(KE 70) 2. Corolla 1993 (AE 100) 3. Corolla 2003 121 4. Corolla axio 2007 nkr 161 5 corolla axio hybrid 2015 nkr 165
A friend of mine had a 77 Corolla, and I had a 77 Buick Riviera, his was a go cart compared to the buick ride and comfort. Gas was cheap back then, so I didn't mind the bigger more comfortable ride over mileage 😎
