Assalam O Alaikum. Today I bring you guys another exciting episode of " Sedan In Budget ". Our Brand new series in which we will find the best Sedan in the price of brand new Suzuki Alto. In today's Episode, we will review Toyota Corolla Gli ( 2008-2014 ). This is the 10th Generation of Toyota Corolla released in 2008. We will analyze the car on 4 main categories.

2. Performance
3. Reliability
4. Value
we will also score the car on these points.

As a owner of this exact car I can confirm that it is more comfortable than reborn due to its soft suspension but you guys missed some of its known faults Firstly, there is a misfiring issue in this generation which is also present on some petrol driven corolla’s. Secondly, head and valves of this engine tend to give out after driving it on CNG which can also cause terrible misfires and I’m currently facing this issue as well and lastly, dashboard cracks after sometime

Thanks for pointing out...we have owned this model many times. Alhamdulillah never faced any issue....currently own this car as well. It's driven more then 140k and going pretty solid. Cng is a curse bro. Simply walk away from the car that has it.

PKD MotorSport mashallah sir and in sha allah it will keep on running without flaws by the way I forget three more known faults 😅 1. Fuel Pump failure which I have seen in two corolla’s by now and commonly regarded as its known fault 2. Compressor also fails this very common and also present in newer GLi/XLi’s as well I have personally experienced it 3. Clutch also starts slipping which can be blamed on driving style but it is something to look out for also experienced this one 😅 A little out of context but I loved the review and you just earned my subscription with notifications

Bro we also faced the issue of compressor and clutch slipping but that car was roughly used......

I have a 2013 gli just 54000km driven, but I would have to disagree that it is more comfortable than reborn (atleast on Islamabad roads). Otherwise it is a very good, very robust and a very practical car. I have heard from many people that its steering column has some issues. I have not faced this issue since mine is still not driven much

On plain roads both cars are good, reborn is more engaging. But as soon as you get on rough roads, corolla shows it's strength.

Assalam o Alaikum. The car prices have gone up and Corolla Gli 2008-2011 model costs around 15-17 lacs depending on condition. Currently i own a 2010 model Gli and it's a great car. Gives around 12-13 km/l in city
