I'm not sure if this is a 1972 Corona Mark II, I'm not sure what model this is. Although a very nice car presented here, my family bought this particular model in that year and it was a four door, automatic and with the 19RC, four cylinder engine. This model in this video has a six cylinder and the valve train is quite noisy; the valves require periodic adjustment, especially if the rocker arm assembly bearings exhibit excessive wear. The one thing I urge all Toyota owners to do is to use the factory-made oil filter! This has a reliable check-valve which prevents the oil from draining out as they are mounted upside down. The result of using aftermarket oil filters such as Fram and others is the oil will drain out and the motor will have a 20-30 second period of dry starvation of oil on the rockers, camshaft and chain tensioner(s), and all bearing surfaces which results in excessive wear; the chains stretch and can even erode a hole in the front timing cover. The whole engine will wear out prematurely and the pistons and rings get starved of oil and wear occurs on both the rings and cylinder wall, precipitating a blow-by of cylinder gases into the crankcase and excessive oil consumption. Our car was worn out after 60,000 miles. Otherwise, the two Liter 19RC is a good engine if well maintained and coupled with a four or five speed manual transmission is quite fast.
