Here is a quick little video on how to install the OEM hitch receiver from Toyota and its associated electronics for the trailer lighting. It's a pretty easy install 2/5 wrenches! $320 from amazon, link below.

Thank you thank you thank you!!! Saved me $$ because I was able to do it myself. U haul wanted about $300.00 more with their hitch plus welding. Got the factory unit through watching utube. Making sure I got the right parts.Thank god for utube teachers.😎

It looks like you can do this without taking the whole bumper off just the center panel?

Why take off the entire bumper? Looks like you can just remove the gray plastic insert and get access to the holes

You have to so you can access some of the hitch holes. Its not a whole lot of work to take the bumper off anyway.

You can’t…..when you take off center it only exposes two holes.

Are both fuses 15 amp per the instructions?

i noticed yours has the parking sensors and so does mine. Does the process of installing this damage the rear sensors at all? Will they still work afterward?

Well I have the parking sensor and hitch from factory so it works

No problem with the parking sensors at all. They work just like normal afterwards.

Jeeze thats a terrible hitch. Here we have a bar that goes between the chassis rail here. Whats the weight limit on that hitch? Must be nothing.

It's the oem hitch rated for 5k lb towing. Not sure what the tongue weight capacity is but it's pretty stout.
