Nice insights. This is for Toyota, they could have made the signal light as the fog light and the DRL shifts to signal light when invoked while the other temporarily gets off as long as signaling and then turns back as DRL.
I've been using fortuner g for 2 months now.. in terms of tech.. nahuhuli sya sa ibang competition.. like cruise control. Madami din tinanggal na accesories.. roof rail, fog lights, mud guard.. interms of power and acceleration.. kaya nya nmn makipag sabayan sa ibang mid size suv..
Same also with the 2016 Fortuner 2.4 G when it 1st came out, it also had manual aircon. + other things like, rear drum brakes, and no reverse sensors, which they changed and added all those in the 2017 model. Also as compared to the 2016 Fortuner, the 2016 base model had Foglights, mudguards, & roof rails. What is nice about the updated Fortuner G is the additional safety features, like Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRC), & Hill Start Assist (HSA), + 2 front and 4 rear sensors and a reverse camera.
Auto climate is nice but manual ac is not bad as long as you get full functions like air direction, front deffoger and recirc/ outside air. I have a hilux G with auto climate and there are times that it does not turn on the AC function, only fan. My trusted aircon technician advised me to remove the battery to reset the AC function and it worked. Never had that glitch with manual ACs before.
My 2018 Toyota Fortuner G has a much better looking and high quality interior. It is decorated with soft touch brown leather linings, silver metal trimmings and wood accents. Air cooled ang glove and bottle compartments. There’s a CD player and it also has a dual automatic climate control. The fog lights are still there. Definitely the quality went down in the 2023 model. I will definitely keep mine as it wasn’t used that much because Im am an OFW.
the g really needs some improvement like the 2020 it has auto climate control well the dual zone auto climate control, also the cool glove box they removed the air vent from the base model, what they should also add is paddle shifters like the 2020 also the wireless charging pad and the 4x4 option and to make all varients of the fortuner, to make it better they should add led lights in the inside they should also add lots of leather in the dashboard like the ltd like the q to make the fortuner the better selling suv in the Philippines 2023 if all variants have the Toyota safety sense all interior lights are led and cool glove box and push start buttons on all variants all variants are leather seats and the g variant screen is also 8 inch screen display and 4x4 option on all variants
Maganda sana kso sana man lng ung air condition control ginawang auto man lng, ndi n manual, then ung wala man lng fog light.. d tulad sa montero sport khit pa2anu.. sana sa 2024 lagyan ng fortuner khit MT to.. just my two cents..
marketing strat kasi, taena dati naman g at v variant lang, nag ka q na, may LTD may grs pa.. sa mga higher variants mo lang makukuha satisfaction, malakas loob ni toyota kasi highest selling brand dito sa pinas eh, kaya bibilhin at bibilhin pa dn..
bat ung 2019 G variant na fortuner namin mas maganda features kesa sa latest G’s naka digital A/C controls, may aircon sa upper compartment sa dash, at ung fan speed controller sa 2nd row mas maganda ung nasa 2018/2019mdl
