It has no competition except for BJ40 plus which isn't comfort oriented. Its the only one in it's League. Maybe GWM TANK 500 just launched in Saudi might see a launch in pak, might give some competition
thankyou for an honest review. I luckily own a Legender and have to confess that its seats are pretty hard and uncomfortable. Another serious issue which the dealer and Indus Motor have still been unable to resolve is the headlight beam focusing. My right side beam makes a dark spot in the middle of road restricting its visibility to 100 meters at night. Anybody else having the same problem? Your comments will help.
I kept sigma pre facelift for 2 yrs and driven it 40K. just change its Dunlop PT tires on first day with Michelin Permacy SUV or Michelin Premier LTX. you can feel 20% smooth and planted drive
@11:45 I had the same issue with my Corolla Altis 1.6x that I bought last year. Luckily, I went to get it checked the very next day at a Toyota dealership and the guy just tightened a few screws under the front fender on the right side and the issue got resolved in 2 minutes.
Plz do check tires after alignment of tilted steering because if steering is aligned from left front tire side just by adjustment in ends that causes tires eating issue which becomes visible within 5 to 10k kms. Further tip for all, note that tires are also covered in warranty for such tread issues.
@@Anonymous_1290-k8h no doubt. Drove the 2.7 fortuners, one of the first ones, then had the chance to drive 2.8 sigma one. Massive difference in power. The newer figures would definitely have even better power delivery.
This review is the best especially telling about the comfort of this car unfortunately I find it very uncomfortable to sit in fortuner imagine driving it long distances
Alignment sahi Hoti hai factory se but during transit on auto carrier gari ko kafi jerks miltay hain jis se isle steering alignment out ho jati hai. The best thing is to get it checked while taking delivery and bring the steering realigned. They will open the bolts from behind the tire and fix it
Please stop comparing fortuner with prado. Brand new price bracket difference is huge. Fortuner is simply in a stand alone segment. No other vehicle in pakistan to compete with it. Its a rough, tough and powerful vehicle. Its made for off roading and "adjusted" for onroad. Dont review it like confused, wanna be cross overs like e-tron, tucson, sportage and the chinese things. I like your reviews but compare all the above vehicles in offroad and toughness conditions. Then maybe everyone will understand what this thing is made for. Isko itne piyar se na chalayen 😁
You're right about it being tough, but practically speaking, due to it's steep price Fortuner is seldom used for off-roading in Pakistan. However, it's a very capable off-roader.
I want to ask is Yaris 1.5 CVT ativ X better or Altis 1.6 X automatic? I am a bit confused because Altis is C segment sedan and looks overall better, Yaris looks awful much more compact but has 6 speed CVT whereas altis still had 4 speed automatic.
Are stock AT tires decent ? I’m assuming Dunlop is being offered across all variants of Fortuner. Or would you folks recommend swapping another AT brand.
Stock Dunlop AT tires are fine for regular use. However, they are a bit noisy and hard as compared to the alternatives offered by Michelin, Yokohama and Continental.
missing features in Legender is air ventilated driver and passenger seats, wireless phone charger, no info of music/radio on mid screen, JBL 9 speakers and kick sensor for power back door theze are basic features in Indian Toyota Legender. Good thing you mentioned about no rain sensor wiper also even though it got auto headlights.
I think 10 year old prado is far better. Bcos its a landcruiser. Comfort, offroad capability and specially land cruisers are build for 20,30 years. Highly reliable.
I would rather buy honda vezel latest model , the comfort at its peak and full of features and i always think 5 seater is better (if 7 seats are not a requirement) for better leg space.
Honda Vezel has no comparison with Fortuner except for it’s price. But that would be comparable with Fortuner G variant. However that’s a crossover and fortuner is a proper SUV

Sorento is a crocked andaa. The internatonally released 2020 is a charm. No wonder it failed in Pakistan because globally it was a massive failure. Jo stock unsold tha woh Pakistan lay aaye
I think oxhan x7 future sense is better than fortuner if u want best car experience but if u want to show off so take fortuner oxhan is better in all thing than fortuner
