Toyota Fortuner V 2.4 AT 2022 | Fuel Consumption Test 

I have Fortuner 4x4 2009 model and a Ford Everest 2.2 2017 model. Fortuner 4x4 2009 Odo - 186,000 - maintenance cost is low - durability. For 15 years id say it is top notch. Everest 2017 2.2 engine turbo Odo - 27,000 - smooth driving - malambot nga lang ang shock to the point na ma alog pag nag kurbada - High maintenance cost - pangkasal lang para maporma din. Same fuel consumption based on my observation. I still use my fortuner for everyday use. Still in perfect engine condition

Our family car is a 2020 Fortuner G, I can say hindi naman sa matagtag pero I can say medyo maalog pag sa mga road imperfections.

Your explanation about Fortuner's matagtag reputation is good and understandable. Your fuel consumption test using full tank method is good. But reporting it you should include the average speed during the test. Although that is not possible this time due to your trip profile. I have driven a Montero 4x2 GLS for 4.5yrs now and the fuel consumption is directly correlated to the speed. A low kph will mean traffic condition and result to high km/li. You mentioned tha 27.9km took 2 hrs. At 14 kph average, I would say that Fortuners fuel consumption is pretty bad.
