Just picked up 2013 Toyota Highlander limited same color inside and out with 55,000 miles 1 owner no accidents mint condition clean carfax, loving it 😍
Love my 08 highlander. Perfect car for me. Also you didn't touch on reliability. If you don't mind fixing a broken cup holder every couple hundred thousand miles then this is the car for you. 100% would recommend.
I bought my wife a 2007 to replace our troublesome Chrysler minivan, while we missed some of the features that the minivan offered, we certainly enjoy the reliability and sturdiness. It's an awd model with the v6. The only thing I've had to replace is the alternator and tires. The last owner had installed new brakes before we purchased it with only 120k, it now sits at around 166k. Absolutely great vehicle. I daily a 2006 Saturn Relay level 3, and I keep dreaming of stepping up to a newer highlander. Just 10 more house payments and I can:) We go camping and our 2007 is just big enough to accommodate us and our gear. I wouldn't mind a little more space and the newer ones are a little bigger. Not by much but with camping every inch counts!
I had a 2012 highlander limited and I absolutely loved it. It was stolen out of my driveway and the cops found it totalled 2 blocks from my house. I have a 2018 highlander limited now and it's nice but honestly....I'd rather have my 2012
I have the 2011 Highlander SE Sport Utility model, tons of space! i just purchased the TRD style grill with the retro looking letters on the grill instead of the toyota emblem, cant wait to install!
I have a 2013. Love all about it except the beeping for locking/unlocking. It is embarrassing in public. It is particularly loud well after dark. When the night is pin quiet, the beeping is as disruptive as a tornado siren.
Love our 2012 Highlander which I purchased for my fiance to drive. Out of all of the vehicles on the lot it was the one that excited her. Everything else was nope... nope... hold on a sec... hello. Dark blue, tan leather, sunroof and the 3.5 V6. It has been an absolute joy for her to drive the past 3 years and is definitely one of her treasured possessions. With a 129,000 miles on it now it still runs great. Reasonably economical with over 21 Mpg highway if we keep it under the speed limit and she averages around 18 driving it locally. Took it in for a inspection and they had to keep it over night to replace the rear brake rotors and pads. They gave us a brand new (just off the truck) Chevy Trax AWD as a loner. It is a ok vehicle but not the Highlander that she enjoys. We will keep it for years to come with just routine maintenance.
Unlike me, you picked the Highlander with the correct engine. I bought a 2012 Highlander with the 2.7L inline 4 cylinder engine which is a piece of crap. The engineers screwed up when they manufactured the pistons and rings that allowed oil blow by. I real nightmare. Everything else about the Highlander is great. Just wished I had bought the V-6 Engine.
It is pretty slow and rare. It's reliable but it is just too underpowered since the car weighs around 4500 pounds. I'd suggest the 3.5 but if you are the only one using maybe the 4 cylinder might work

Forgot to mention second row middle seat can be removed and stored under the front console. 4:38, See the compartment just under the rear air-con controls. Later model Highlander, Kluger as we call it in Australia, do not have this. Plus the foot handbrake is crap, that went out in the 70's. Apart from the handbrake, my 2010 Kluger V6 2wd brought new wth now 200,000 klms on the clock, is the ducks nuts!
Remember this is the last version where they have full time AWD, subsequent models are part time AWD. This version you have 50/50 power distribution all the time
