Do I need a transmission cooler? Those who tow, carry any sort of load or go offroad should definitely run a dedicated transmission cooler. Check out our range

How does it fit with a Redarc BCDC installed on a Redarc bracket behind the grill where they prefer? Pity the Cooler wasnt on the right hand side.

Do you have one for a 2015 Hiace? The transmission is AC60F. I use the Van as a camper van and tow a light kayak trailer and usually have a lot of camping gear. There are a lot hills here in Japan so I think adding a cooler would help it?

Every auto car I have owned and fitted a trans cooler to, I have always bypassed the OEM system in the radiator (especially Fords). Any reason why I couldn't do it with these modern autos?

Most places I read say the tramsission cooler in and out should be to the side or upwards to avoid cavitation. In this video you installed it with both inlet and outlet facing down. Is there any difference? Can I actually install it with the inlet and outlet facing down?

Can be mounted in any direction as it is a pressurised flow that will pump any air pockets out in just a few seconds.

Does Toyota change the trans fluid in some service or is it "sealed for life"?

No, Toyota are very reluctant to do any automatic transmission servicing and NO automatic is a sealed unit. It is a very misleading and completely false terminology. You should service your transmission once every 2 years or 40,000Km's.

I couldn’t speak for what they do in Australia but in New Zealand it’s oil change only at 90k, definitely below par but better than nothing. Also 15k one year on the engine oil unlike the backwards 6 months carry on here in oz

Do you guys know if this kit fits with the redarc bcdc bracket that fits in the same area?

Not sure sorry Greg, they are fairly easy to move if required.
