March 2023 : V3Cars reviews all the variants of the Toyota Innova Hycross, including VX (O), to find out which variant makes the most sense to buy. The Toyota Innova Hycross is available with a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 2.0-litre petrol hybrid powertrain. Prices of the Hycross start from Rs 18.55 lakh and go up to Rs 29.72 lakh.

Yes, i also came here to type this comment but then saw yours, DRLs come only with zx and zxo, and vx(o) comes with fog lamps only, below that no DRLs or foglamps, @v3cars

GX OTR 22.77L VX OTR 29.5L difference 6.5 lakhs upfront Mileage Gx 10 kmpl minimum Vx 19 kmpl minimum Note : i take minimum mileage because gx ne 13.5 kmpl mileage diya hai (tested by zigwheels ) but hamesha yehi nhi hoga city mai kam bhi hoga toh 10 kmpl man lete hai kam se kam Cost per km : Hybrid : 108/ 19 = ₹5.68 per km Non hybrid : 108/10 = ₹ 10.8 per km Hence to cover 6.5L upfront cost u need to use hybrid vehicle for 1,25,000 kms atleast. Also innova hycross hybrid battery cost 2.5L right now (not in india but outside india coverted into INR) Although it has 8 years warranty. Hence gx is value for money.

Even i calculated sir suppose you run 1 lakh km in GX say if it gives average of 12 km per litre then it requires 8333 litres of petrol ,and at rupees 150 per litre also for 8333 litre it costs 12.5 lakh rupees for the petrol ,add the on road valie of the car at 25 lakhs it works out to 37.5 lakhs ,and if hybrid gives even 20 km per litre of petrol for 1 lakh km it requires 5 thousand litres of petrol at say 150 rupees a litre then it costs7.5 lakh rupees for petrol add this to value of VX HYBRID 31.5 plus 7.5 will be 38.5 lakhs even then hybrid works out costlier even at one lakh km use ,also battery of hybrid also costly and every year insurance cost also more than gx
