My cousin has Crysta and I have XUV500 W7. We raced on the Mysore highway while going to Mysore. Crysta got pasted like no tomorrow lol XUV500 is a beast!
First of all speed is not everything ,ur car definitely has inferior ride quality and inferior reliability than the crysta ,fuel economy is way better with the crysta ,the mileage is also better with crysta so yeaaah ,XUV is a rugged car ,but crysta is better for city use ,nobody cares if u win some road race

Cons of Innova is... 1. Looks like ertiga/dutsun go 2. Dashboard looks like 19 century cars 3. At this price range they should add sunroof. 4. It's high time for company to upgrade the looks. 5. Awd should be added at this price. 6. Price is too high.
I have 2 Innova. Both Innova are Top Model i had purchased. Old one and The new one Innova crysta. Both the Innova i have maintained Very Well. Very Good Engine and Comfortable Driving and Power.
Its a bad choice - do not buy this vehicle. I bought an XUV500 W11(O) right around the launch. I have driven for less than 2000 Kms so far and Here is a list of problems I faced: 1. My infotainment system crashed leaving the stereo running even when the car was switched off completely 2. ORVMs do not autofold on opening the door/ sometimes do not even fold or open when pressing the button on the driver side door panel 3. Second row seats were changed as they were faulty and made unbearable noise on mildly rough city roads 4. Odd excessive rusting of rear right side disc break 5. Rear Left door trim and last row pillar side was damaged before delivery 6. Thud Noise from Sunroof - apparently lacked lubrication, post which it is working without the thud noise now - should have been fixed to begin with 7. Cubby Hole on top of the Infotainment system does not open properly 8. Follow me lamps sometimes come up during the day other times don't - don't understand if this is a problem - surely sounds like it - it should not come on at all during day time and if it does then it should happen consistently, tells me some coding is wrong somewhere
My cousin bought XUV 500 back in 2013 at the time it was just launched, he always tell that XUV is beast bruhh, now after 9-10 yrs he sold it and bought Crysta , am not much happy cuz the craze level XUV had was far away than dull Crysta

Innova crysta is refined and feels sophisticated. Its ergonomical and has a better ride quality. It also has more boot space with the 3rd row up. Its legendary reliability and phenomenal after sales service with best in business resale value makes it a winner despite of the premium for those who can afford it. Mid variants make more sense and value for money.

XUV is better.. Indian mahindra has gained wide popularity for its Diesel engine... its service network its resale value its comfort its mileage..everything is better

I am xuv 500 fan and i have a xuv500 sportz version , xuv has lot of features for so much lesser price... but i was shocked when i drove my friends old innova , it was still driving like a new car even though it has run 3.5+ lakh km I was shocked about the reliability and that is when I decided to buy fortuner as my next car, ive got to sacrifice lot of features from xuv in fortuner but still , reliability also matters when we spend that much
