If you power fold the side view mirrors when the cameras are on, it will automatically Change the views lengthwise to allow you to see the whole Side of the truck front to back...cool trick when in tight trails.

I love Toyota! Their reliability is second to none.

You forgot to mention that the Heritage Edition Landcruiser also loses the sidesteps on both driver and passenger sides (other than the lost 3rd row seats, retro badges and bronze wheels, which you mentioned) so as to give more ground clearance.

Great review, I have a 2019 LC200, wouldn’t give it up for anything! Unfortunately 2021 will be the last year for Cruisers in the US. It is a beast. The Heritage edition is kind of a joke though, the give you less for more money, but still every bit as capable.

Genuine question (because I'm considering a 2021 Heritage), why do you say the Heritage is less for the money? All I see that is truly different is the rear seat delete (I don't need the seats, so I see that as a bonus), and some aesthetic differences. I suppose it would be accurate to call that "less" for more $, but there is no mechanical differences, right?

@@jonathanstrater903 Don’t get me wrong, the Heritage Edition is a great vehicle, but they took away the rear seats which is fine. They also took away the side steps, which is fine as well, I took mine off and replaced with rock sliders. But they also took away the cool box in the center console (which I love)! So that is the less for more part. I do love the wheels and the throwback logo. The roof rack IMO is useless, I pulled of the rails and put on a Rhino Rack which is awesome! So the way I see it is you are paying more just for the wheels and logo. Other than that they are the exact same vehicle. You wouldn’t be disappointed either way, they are incredible! Hope this helps.

@@bluecruiser2019 It does tremendously, thank you! Now that you draw attention to it, removing equipment and charging a premium for a more 'spartan' vehicle is a strange move by Toyota (but one that sports car manufacturers have been doing for years). I like not having steps or underbody kit, and the complete delete of the rear seat is actually a BIG selling point for me. Agreed, I would make removal of the Yakima cage a negotiation at purchase (don't like it, don't need it, and I'd rather put a box up there anyway). I've also noticed a WIDE pricing difference nationwide (sometimes as much as $9K off the MSRP). If I decide to commit to the LC, I think my strategy will be to find the lowest cost 2021 Heritage in the US, put a deposit on it, then drive it home (maybe stopping at a few National Parks on the way....). Thanks again for the feedback, and happy motoring!

@@jonathanstrater903 you won’t be disappointed, it’s a great vehicle and will hold it’s value especially if they quit bringing them into the US next year or if they do they will be V6.

Just in case it matters to someone read this. The 2021 Heritage Edition does have the 3rd row available as an option now.

Ha! Awesome truck. But really you can’t compare a $90k LC to a $30k Subaru Outback.

In Europe nobody gets the gasoline model... they get the 4.5 litre diesel.. more torque and much higher fuel mileage/lower fuel consumption.

I really wish there was a land cruiser with the look of a 4runner.
