My Fj is already the same colors and it’s been for about 20 years!! But now it’s just a body and frame. I really like yours and your buddies. I’d like to run a 350 with a sm465 in mine as well.
@@CruisingTheLand we were in a group of 5 jeeps (you ran into us on your way to the start of John Bull, then again at lunch(cigar break), and again at the end of the trail)... I was running second in the dark gray Rubicon. You guys had some great builds!
Hi Robert, You are right. Apology accepted. I agree that John Bull is not a very challenging trail. You should pull up my video on Dusy Ershim, the hardest public trail in the US. 33 miles, Sierra Mountains, and we go in trucks that don't get stuck. 40" tires minimum requirement, 6" lifts and major flex. But I do have a recovery video in Calico, that we do our own recovery. It was at an abandoned mine, where a recovery truck wouldn't have made it if we got stuck on the Dusy, we would have to wait 3 days for Matt, and thats assuming he would make it out to us! BTW, we went last August during the fires... 5 days later, the area we traversed was burnt out.
Thanks for the video........ kinda bummed out because I was going to build my fj exactly like yours...... now I cant! Same green color and black fenders..... damnit! Mine is red with ghost flames and I hate it lol
100 grand so you can take the hardest lines - stupid. i loved the days when all you needed was a locker up front and beer in the cooler and barely enough money for gas.
