Toyota MINI-VCI Windows 10 or 7 64bit Installation Tutorial(the easy way) 

Alright--update--had to change country in the software to North America (or U.S.) that was kind of obvious but not to me. Transponder keys are now programmed, security light goes out when I put the new ones in the ignition. Locks doors, opens trunk! Now I have discovered that my retail stores that I spend lots of money at refuse to cut the keys for me. THEY want you to buy THEIR keys for 60 bucks apiece and THEN charge to program them. My next step is to pick up a key cutter on ebay, and learn to cut my own. I will never feel guilty about buying online from anyone, if my local folks have decided to rip off their customers. Sorry for the rant. This is really ticking me off. Good luck folks! Much thanks to 808 Corolla!

Tommy Perez you can download all in one folder, top left area, their is a option that you can press download

Just find version 13.00.22 for now, i tried the 14.20.019 and no luck to make it work

Ransom Notes Entertainment i think you’re running 32 bit windows, that’s why their is no x86 program

Vi So once you installed the program, don’t open the program, you need to copy and paste techstream icon to the folder and replace the original icon

12masterr did you select xhorse on the vim select settings?

@@808corolla it will not update or install the driver at all, says it ended prematurally!

If you open the device manager, do you see a question mark when you connect the mini-vci cable? If yes, right click and update the driver

@@808corolla then what do I use the x horse driver? It doesn't find anything if I do the automatic search.

remove any past installations of Tech stream and try again with the one drive download that is given in this videos description.

@@808corolla Many thanks for the software and the activation code.. i was able to see the 2 option in VIN select but not port 2.0. Do this option appear once i connect the cable and install its driver?

Did you replace the techstream file? You have to replace it before activating it

@@808corolla I followed all instructions exactly as shown, but now, after connecting the vehicle, I get a CRITICAL Update and I am only given the option to “Update Now” and it brings me to the TIS webpage... any ideas?

@@808corolla Yes, but I uninstalled all previous versions and did a system restore before following this tutorial. Now, I am getting a ‘FTD2XX.dll’ error...

Histly disable your antivirus and download all the files and reinstall

@@808corolla Done and it worked, however when I went to calibrate what was needed, it said couldn't connect to network but I had wifi. any help?

Z my corp jet there what antivirus you using? I’m just using windows defender and it’s not detected as a virus

No alert from my Win 10 64 bit laptop. Also running Windows Defender.

On techstream software, go to setup, and press VIM SELECT, and select xhorse

iAlex684 you might uninstall the software first, then turn off your anti virus then reinstall the software, see if that helps
