I had installed an aftermarket TRD Pro style grille and aftermarket TSS sensor but I found the aftermarket grille would get water spots from morning dew and even car wash that were very hard to remove.
I removed the aftermarket TRD Pro style grille and TSS garnish sensor cover and replaced them with an OEM TRD Pro Grille and OEM TSS garnish sensor cover, I have found the OEM quality is better than the aftermarket units and is easier to clean.
One thing I found with the TSS garnish is the aftermarket TSS garnish the two studs that the push lock washers go on are a 5/16 size post. The OEM TSS garnish the posts are 1/4 inch and use a smaller push lock washer that is easier to install.

Question: your truck is an SR5. I've been told, and have read on several forums that you must provide a valid TRD PRO VIN number before they'll sell you either the grill and/or the garnish. If that's not the case where you live, can you provide dealership contact info so I can pick up the OEM garnish? Cause I'm having trouble, and I refuse to use cheap aftermarket parts. Thanks in advance

Just the base model SR 2.7, you can buy the Toyota grill and garnish plate without a VIN number. I purchased the grille from a Toyota dealer in California. I forget what dealer I bought the garnish plate from but it is a Toyota brand and was way over priced for what it is but it is designed to work.
