Wow. I'm paying cash and looking to get a basic LE. Total cost is a lot less. Maybe you could do a quick video for people like me. Unfortunately, because these cars are in high demand, my local dealers are demanding thousands more than the sticker price. The advantages of having cash and taking the base model still results in paying around $36,000 after taxes and destination.

I mean you always have to pay gas unless you buy electric. I’ve paid off my car for years and over that same time it’s costing me $20k over 6 years without issues in just insurance and gas alone, so this number feels a lot bigger than it actually is.

I rather driver a reliable used car and invest the $800 on retirement or build my down payment for a house. Plus, all these 2020-2029 vehicles will be affordable in 10 years when they hit the used market. Be patient, everyone. A brand new car is not worth the $500+ monthly payment
