I gotta respectfully disagree. I switched from a lexus to this and it has the bells and whistles of a premium vehicle. I agree with you that I am not a fan of the tires. This car is one of those really quick sleeper vehicles that you truly enjoy the torque when you put the car in (Autohv/ev + Sport) . I beat a x4 M package the other day. Had another rav4 owner stop me at a red light asking how long I had to wait for the prime. For those that know… really appreciate this vehicle. Your comparison to a classic bmw is like comparing apples and blueberries. This car is practical with awd, fast, gas efficient ( save about $300 a month on gas due to city driving on electric only) and has the bells and whistles
@@RoadandTract I don’t think it’s supposed to be. It’s just a rav4 with a giant battery underneath. The goal of this car is to use full EV mode when commuting and achieve good fuel economy on road trips. The fact that it has 300hp is more so the fact that the larger battery allowed them to put more powerful electric motors in it for better performance while in full EV.
That's your country for you. Not my fault. Just your sloppy society and debt slavery working out swell. Now go back to your elementary job and go groom some people you like.
$52k... as much as a Civic Type R. A few grand shy of the cheapest new Land Cruiser. But RAV4 flex is usually strongest at the retirement village, right?
Hard to say because of the roof rack. Even if I could imagine how much quieter it would be without the cross bars, I wouldn't be right and I still wouldn't know.
so you were doing a review of a plug-in hybrid, but you never plugged it in and charged the secondary battery? Sorry… That’s not much of a review. Secondary battery is what gives a plug-in hybrid all the throttle response!
