Toyota RAV4 review 

Great review. In the UK the black edition isn’t available any more so I’ve gone for the dynamic model in bi-tone silver with black roof and wheels. Arriving in March. After watching numerous reviews it always seems to come out top in the segment and gives the best balance of economy, space and equipment for the money. I also love that not all the controls are buried in a touch screen and the 19 inch wheels also make the car look more in proportion.

This is the second video I’m watching from your lineup and I like them quite well first one was about the Aygo X And I learned that my RAV4 has a lithium-ion battery which I to be honest didn’t know, actually all RAV4 Hybrids build after mid 2020 have one. Over here in Germany and the black edition is the second most expensive, only the plug-in is more expensive in the higher trims. I bought my black edition about six months ago, had wanted a slightly less expensive one but that would’ve meant six months waiting time at least. The 4 x 4 black addition I bought was delivered within two weeks to me 👍🏻 I don’t know if you missed it or if your trim didn’t have it even though I thought it to be standard: When you were speaking about the rear view visibility you mentioned the rear view camera but actually mine has two rear view cameras, one is displayed in the rear view mirror which when you flip it up turns into a screen that displays the picture of the rear view camera that’s sitting underneath the roof inside on the back window . The regular rearview camera is outside right above the license plate and it’s displayed on the main display. So you have perfect visibility out to the rear even if there’s luggage piled up to the roof or there are three passengers in the back seats. The drawback is it only suits in those cases because with her screen is rearview mirror there’s a problem judging distances out the back, you don’t really know how far away things are that you look at

I currently drive a diesel Toyota Auris 2011 and I am thinking of buying the RAV4 hybrid. I am pleased to hear that you only used around 6 litres per 100km when driving this car. To be honest, that is amazing for a 2.5 - litre petrol engine. You stated after a couple of hundred kilometres, you achieved an average of 5.7 litres of fuel which was done on motorways which is good news as I do a lot of motorway commutes. That was the main reason why I went to diesel in the first place. I would like to know, how many kilometres would you get out of a single tank of petrol?. Salespeople generally don’t tell you how many kilometres the car can go on a single tank of fuel.

I like the look of the Black Edition but here in the UK Toyota say that the Black Edition is no longer available to order. Great concise review though
