Is it a nice smooth ride? Do u reccommend for a student who wants a first car that is safe, good quality, small but also big enough for 5 people with good leg room and a good boot.

Hi Muhammad, do you know if it use a Suzuki engine and gearbox, or did Toyota develop their own for this model. Also, is the automatic version a cvt or the conventional auto torque converter version. Thanks.

Hi there Kobus. Exact same engine but quality checks and safety standards differ between brands. They are assembled in the same factory and then the manufacturing line changes for each brand for QA.

How much does auto rev at around 120km/hr. I heard the manual has high revs at our national speeds?

Stick with the Suzuki. Cheaper AND has a better guarantee period.

TOYOTA is the best worldwide.

@@truthaboutlife2026 except this car is designed and built by Suzuki 🤔. In central America the Mazda 2 is sold as a Yaris 😂😂😂 why can't Toyota design their own cars
@truthaboutlife2026

@@michaelflinn7784 TOYOTA designs and builds their own cars, trucks and buses as they are #1 in the world. TOYOTA owns major shares in Suzuki, Mazda and Subaru and have a say in their direction. This has helped to prevent those companies from going bankrupt and helped revive their declining sales with cash infusion along with TOYOTA manufacturing best practices. Consider TOYOTA engineering to be a part of every new Suzuki built and sold. The trade off is TOYOTA can use their technology, designs, and manufacturing plants as well. Do your research. TOYOTA doesn't need anyone, as their engineers have established a longstanding reputation worldwide. But they don't mind collaborations which is healthy for teamwork and improving worldwide market sales. You must be new to cars, so I understand.

AND the BASE model Suzuki (R225 000) has cruise control and a reverse camera and a five year warranty! Boom.
@michaelflinn7784

@@truthaboutlife2026 Toyota owns 4,9% of Suzuki but still boggles the mind that the world #1 car manufacturer sells other brands under its name. To my mind stick with the original especially here in SA where Suzuki offer better/longer warranties
