@@Here4Porsche Well FH1 started the whole series. So at the time it came out the graphics to FH1 were cutting edge. So good in fact that 10 years later or so many of us still play it including DJS. Now FH1 was an Xbox 360 game so the maps are smaller and graphics not as good as Xbox One. But it's still a Legendary game that started it all..

ItzClexz accurate for twin turbo single turbo sounds completely different because the way the manifold is routed is different with all the ports going into one flange.also in horizon and horizon 2 the Supra had an audible external waste gate dump which was super dope would be cooler if they featured that as an option.

I think the problem with it all is that pretty much all videos of an A80 feature one that is modified. It’s hard to find a video of one which is bone stock, so there’s the biggest issue. I can’t comment on the accuracy myself as I’ve never heard an unmodified A80 in person.

RS 390 That’s exactly what I think of it. The engine note is that bit too low, like your example. It should be that bit higher to sound more like how it should.

Here’s why everyone likes the old sound better: the sound was over-exaggerated to make the car sound crazy good. In Horizon 4, they tried to make most of the cars sound realistic, so that’s why 90% of the cars in FH4 sound subdued, because PG and T10 went for realism over exaggeration.

I really love the roads in Horizon 1, so many twists, turns, banks, and bumps. You really get a lot of good feeling of road character. Now they're all really flat and boring.

Forza Horizon 2 and 3. That definitely doesn't sound like a Supra. I think FH1 is the best.

True but the fact is that playground games knows that there is an issue with the car sounds in the game and could have done a bit better considering how nice the sounds in Horizon 1 and 2 are, and because this is a "new" car they could have given it any sound they wanted.

In forza 4 the supra sound like a real supra on stock twin turbos with an exhaust system..even after you upgrade to a big single turbo the exhaust doesn't change much to represent that well in sound.

There's nothing wrong with reusing sound files if they sound great. Change isn't always good. I stopped playing CSGO after Valve ruined my favourite guns with bad sound updates.

Horizon 1 because im most used to that sound (cuz 360) and also it sounds the most natural and the smoothest. I love it. Horizon 4 sounds almost like a muscle car but its my 2nd favourite
