Hi I need an expert opinion, should I go for Vitz 2011-12 or City? Considering both are in the same price bracket (budget is around 17lac)... Can you also enlighten me about the fuel average of both the cars? I live in Islamabad and frequently travel on motorway.... Would love to hear your opinion.
Dear Shakeel Sahib, your concerns and way of thinking about POV of any vehicle is not practical so far. i personally believe u must change your mind set as it seems you stuck yourself undue in this issue. Because you have issues of POV more 80% of cars driven by you. And surprisingly this issue never highlighted or reported internationally by any other professional. Please dont take me wrong, your respect and professional approach towards vehicles analysis is high ranked and outclass by me. Take care
Vitz 1.0 cvt has painfully slow response below 40kph. The cvt transmission programming is very lazy. I've driven both 2nd and 3rd generation vitz and a really clean and mechanically fit suzuki khyber '98 as well quite a few times and guess what khyber was faster than vitz 1.0 any day. Vitz 2nd generation is a bit better than 3rd generation in 1.0 variant in responsiveness and cabin space but 3rd generation has slightly better brakes and better cabin insulation.
