They posted a RU-vid video that still features Justin's Collectibles logo, even after he publicly stated that he was no longer affiliated with them. He commented that he was not pleased with them doing that and he was not consulted 🤷 They're definitely in damage control mode. I think that this will be yet another cautionary tale for everyone involved in the hobby. I hope that there is an amicable resolution to the situation, because ultimately if manufacturers and licensors get affected by the situation, access to certain statues, figures and collectibles could dry up in certain areas of the world
They can say whatever they like. Those of us who have been screwed over by them know exactly what they're about. I don't need to state my specific issues here, because there are so many examples out there just like mine. Suffice to say, when you charge someone for shipping and then say that it was shipped but wasn't delivered for one reason, then say that it was never shipped for a completely different reason, then ask for more money to "reship" the item, and won't refund the cost when a customer is tired of your shit and wants to cancel the order, you're actively screwing your customers. When you charge someone for shipping and then after several months it comes out that the item was never in your possession to begin with...and you admit that...then you are actively screwing your customers. When you have an item on your website for preorder that was cancelled by the manufacturer months ago, you are actively screwing your customers. Toys Wonderland is garbage and that's just that. People are being real generous with how they talk about them and that's bullshit. They can damn burn for all I care.
hello did you get the item or did you get your more money back, only asking because I have ordered a hot toy figure from them 2 months ago and they have not even got back to me, (i ordered a couple of figures a few years back and they came within a week I live England ) sounds like I am being screwed
Anyone who did the least bit of research knew of the various problems customers of Toys Wonderland were having for the past TWO years. But for those who unfortunately relied on just the promotion from RU-vid individuals were simply left out in the cold with insufficient information.
I requested a refund a few days ago. They must be getting hit hard with refund requests for them to say this. Their customer service is some of the worst.
Them making a statement does make me think less that they've just become scammers but I'm still nervous for my orders. I was just confused because I'd had 5 orders with them before and everything went great and now all of a sudden things aren't being shipped
This company has been iffy for the last 3 years and only gotten worse, I don't see them getting any better either. The only reason they put this statement out is because people were mass cancelling their orders after even their biggest partner cut ties with them. I would continue to stay away from the company for as long as possible, its only a matter of time before they go under and run with everyone's PO money.
I pre ordered the Roah (fist of the north star) statue on sept 27th 2021 and I still haven’t received it. They offered store credit, which for USD 2,300 apeox isn’t an option, I want my money back and I should even charge interest! Now btw they are not even answering my mails, we should all join up and sue them.
I ordered a item 2 months ago which has not come and have emailed them loads of times and they dont reply back, mind me asking how you got your money back
I’m trying to buy threezero fallout t-60 figure, it’s an old release and I couldn't find it anywhere and it appears that they have it right now in stock, I’m in the Middle East and one of the shipping options appears in the checkout is (HK post) it’s the only one with reasonable price, I tried to contact them but no response, do you recommend go for it?
I have one sixth scale figure on preorder through them and I'm quite nervous, though this does at least sound like they're trying to do the right thing. Now whether they actually go through with it is anyones guess. It does frustrate me that Justin had continued to advertise for them long after the issues were known, which led to people (like myself) purchasing through them.
I preordered Damtoys Claire Redfield in July 2022. It released in March this year. They no longer reply to my emails and I haven't received my item and I can't get a refund :(
@@shantymorgan5342did you use a credit card or PayPal? Only if you used a debit card are you completely screwed. Credit card can call and do a charge back. I'm dealing with all this now too unfortunately.
I emailed them multiple times about a very late order and they have not replied once. I had not choice but to dispute the credit card charge....finally.
I've ordered a few Hot Toys over the past couple of years with them; while other online stores have much faster delivery-times, I have never had a problem with any orders at Toys Wonderland. Right now I have the Exclusive WW Hot Toys on pre-order with them. Here's hoping that will arrive at my doorstep without any issues (post or otherwise) in the near future.
Did it come through. Because I have the same pre-order and still nothing. They just emailed me about it to be shipped in the beginning of September, but it never got through. And worst of it I have 2 other pre-orders from them they should have already been shipped.
@@velovis04 I've been in touch with them and they said mine and all other orders would ship no later than the 24th of January. Getting in touch with them has been difficult, I must say. Wait and see, I guess.
Good to know Toys Wonderland are still aiming to keep going and striving to improve customer service. I currently have 6 pre_orders with Toys Wonderland. Over the years i have received a number of figures and statues from them without issue. Only today i purchased a pre_owned item which they had on offer for $150 less than ebay scalpers. Good luck to Toys Wonderland, i hope they have a longer future ahead of them.. ..and good luck to Justin's (Collection) and his future plans.
I wanted to become a customer of theirs because their prices are a lot lower than sideshow but all I've heard is horror stories of people that bought from them and their items are broken or they get something different that they pre-ordered or they experienced the long two-year delay to receive their item and that business has just been terrible up and down and it seems like it's not going to get any better plan English I have zero intention of ever doing business with them I rather buy my 6 scale figures from Sideshow or a comic book store
The Toys Wonderland thread has been deleted from the CollectorFreaks forum. I wonder why. That's the thread I show people whenever they ask "Should I buy from Toys Wonderland?" to warn them...
Someone needs to figure out the logistics of how figures/statues go from a thought to our collection room. The negativity and issues surrounding this hobby are so exhausting
They took forever to cancel my two preorders but the refund are store credits. I wanted it to go back to my card. Seems like they just gave me store credit cause they want me to shop with them. I emailed them today for my refund to return the my card. This is my first and last that I will do business with them.
I have bought 3 figures from them previously. I had no issues with the company. I've also bough from other companies in HK. And I do know I have always received my orders, they typically always give a challenge to receive a refund. I think if you know the risk factors of not receiving a refund if the service is taking longer than expected than buying over seas isn't for you (If you're in North America). When purchasing from Toys Wonderland I never had issues so I feel comfortable taking the risk of still purchasing from them. Again I have also bought from other HK companies whom I never received the end of tracking waited 2 months with barely responses and STILL received my items just very late. That has been my experience buying in HK as well as Toys Wonderland and I never had any issues receiving my items.
If they can't keep up why do they still have pre orders available for limited figures that sold out long time ago (in minutes) on other websites...Limited figures like rooted hair Anakin and joker unavailable everywhere expect there. All the inart figures are still available on TW, i don't think they will be able to deliver if they don't slow down. (close a lot of pre orders) I have one preorder with them i made a year ago and i don't know what to do, i can't find the figure anywhere else now and even if i mail tw to cancel they won't respond so...
They might be able to source a couple of the HT artisan figures but to have that PO open at this moment is a full on scam. They will take peoples money and it will vanish.
4/8/24. Thanks fro the video!!!!! TW are scammers on pre-orders! Never send them, customer service takes MONTHS to respond, and forget about refunds! Just got a store credit from a 2021 order!
i cancelled and got a refund through paypal but my order is still there on their page, will it disappear as paypal got my money back or will they charge me again and send it anyway?
I've just lost nearly £3,000.00 thanks to Animegami going into insolvency. I've got about £8,000.00 tied-up in Toys Wonderland. After Big Chief Studios went out of business I'm now getting nervous...
They didnt want to give me my money back I had to bring paypal and the fraud department into it, then I started getting a bunch of harrasment spam texts and emails
This is exactly why I did not like you sending collectors Toys Wonderland's way 6 months ago. I'm a fan of the positivity this channel offers and I didn't even mention it back then but this was predicted.
Oh man, is this already sickness from back to school? I used to be a teacher, genuinely do not miss the constant illness that seems to have only gotten worse these last few years. Feel better! Appreciate the TW update, cannot fathom the customer service issues, feel for all the buyers.
@@bluscorpion The school I was in was a k-12. Water and sanitizer only did so much, especially when norovirus started rearing its head. I don't miss it.
I’ve ordered 2nd batch preorders in the last few months, used partialy payment to pay overtime, I’ve normally paid upfront for figures upfront that are in stock and have got them, going to see how it goes with my preorders of £1000, hopefully they can meet everyone’s expectations, I don’t mind waiting a bit but I just hope they don’t forget about us when the time comes. Maybe I should have gone for the first batch 💀
Get better, I used to have insanely good luck with them. Order first day releases and they'd be at my house in less than 5 days. But I have a few orders still lingering. Took me months to receive my loki after releasing, still waiting on figures that were released almost anyear ago... has me nervous about gandolf
I've only ever bought one item from them and that was a Iron Man Mark I Helmet two years ago, which was fine. I recently pre-ordered two Lord of the Rings Inart figures that I'm still waiting on... so we will see..
Never even heard of them, I buy all my figures and statues from AmiAmi, big bad toy store (sometimes when I capitalise those words the algorithm deletes my comment), Animota & Favor GK. They sound sincere, and they’re a relatively new, sounds like they got a lot of business from that guys channel, I think I’ve watched a few videos from his, but I’m not into Hot Toys. I don’t mind waiting for 95% of things, is that the issue? They’re being slow to get things out to people?
Not at all..... I don't see any improvement at all. Sent an email ( x5 ) to them, it takes them about a month to reply. Then asked a Stupid question about what's my order? ( It's clearly on the Subject bar ). Now I've waited another month for those stupid idiots to reply again!!! Absolutely garbage company!!
Chris, you look Good, and it's better to Look Good than to Feel Good ! NOTE : I have friend who was a model, and was actually Words They lived by, Crazy lol
To be honest mister you don't look and sound very good. I think that best is to lay in bed at this moment because you need rest. Regarding Wonderland. I know some people that are Hot Toys collectors and the one thing that always comes back is "stay away from Wonderland". What they are saying is that you’re not guaranteed on getting anything you order. My personal tip to fellow collectors. Always use a credit card when you order something. And in that case you can fight scams like this a little easier.
People are just too finnicky. You are in a hobby that makes it's model on limited availability. Many who can't source their desired trinkets domestically seek out these international sellers like TW without the experience or patience needed to deal with a company in an inverse time zone that perhaps do not communicate as quickly or in a way you are used to and then yes there is risk that can't be managed like you do with domestic retailers. So yes, buck up and stop being so sensitive. If you're going to play the game be ready for what comes with it. I bought a R2 from TW and it stagnated for a month. I wrote them and within a few days had an email and the order was shipped. I've also been stung with international sellers and domestic alike... it's not a "Controversy, just part of playing the game." .... PS... CHris please consider sticking to your base, the chair advertisements are annoying. I really am put off by all the statue content channels selling themselves to the advertisers for extra milk money at the risk of alienating their viewers... I don't care how well your gaming chair spins or how long your water bottle stays cold.... Just let's stay with statue content please.
