I have been trying for hours to get my Xbox Series X and my PS5 to connect to this router via Ethernet cable and WIFI and can not get them to connect. Every other device in this house works excellent. I need help hahaha Please!
Only thing upsets me they charge for security system and usually they do not update firmware frequently. On the other hand, ASUs provides lifetime security system foc and keeps updating products. That keeps me away from Tp-Link. Any progress on this ?
hi well please do not review something that you do not understand as now you gave a false info the 1Gpbs wan and the 2.5 Gbps wan is not for using with 2 different isp simply 1Gpbs wan to be used if you have only 1Gbps speed from your isp which most people have with fiber but if you have connection that supports more than 1 gig speed like 1.5 or even 2 or 2.5 which some fiber isp just released but not to be used with 2 different isp,s
Again this false claim!!! you can't have two ISP becausing it doesn't allow you to have two ISP BY TP-LINK The 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN port and 1 Gbps WAN/LAN port cannot be used as the WAN port at the same time. If you choose to use 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN port as the WAN port for internet service, the 1 Gbps WAN/LAN port will be used as LAN port by default. It’s recommended to use 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN port as the WAN port.
I think the TP-Link Archer C5400X is still better, better CPU and more ports. You should also mention that the GX90 first 5Ghz band is the lowest one the 36 to 48 which sucks and is overpopulated. You would be better using the TP-Link Archer C5400X and connecting your old router to it:)))
You also should know that there is no “problem” to be fixed with the 5Ghz radio… it’s a higher frequency therefore it’s more susceptible to attenuation compared to 2.4. That’s just how it works and you’re never going to see that improve.
