thank you for such informative videos! i have TPA3118pbtl hoping to get 90-100w on a 4ohm 10" 120w subwoofer. what modifications should i do? inductors : stock is good? 10uH value good for base output? or a higher value for a lower corner frequency? decoupling caps value 2200uF? any other changes is needed? thanks again .
Use 3ohm or 2ohm load , run it at 24v provide shit ton of heatsink and pray it doesn't go up in flames when the bass drops 💀. Datasheet says it can do 100w at 1% thd if given 26v at 3ohm load but to be safe stay at 24v. Put 10000uf 25v caps (buy many small caps and put them in parallel ) & remive the reverse polarity protection diode.

Hi bro ! I have a question . I have two class d amplifier TPA 3118 mono (60w) (8-24v)DC TPA 3110 stereo (15*2) (8-24v)DC Am using 19v3.45A DC adapter to opreate those two boards . But the problem is the board gets too hot . What to do bro? To reduce the heat . Although I placed two heat sinks respectively for each board but it become extreme hot and shut downs automatically.

hi, In test run, I wrongly connect power supply to audio input. I do not know what happened to my amp but when I change the connections to proper pattern, There was a dot shaped sound coming from speaker. even if I disconnected Audio in wires, the Amp still produces dot shaped sound. I used Same amp as you. Thank you for your respond in advance.

I give 12v 2Amp supply & connect a 60watt 4ohm sub woofer work fine then I change the supply 24v 2.5 amp without any audio input after few minutes board short power adaptor indicator start blinking. Then I connect a 12volt 2 Amp adaptor same problem. My all adaptor working fine with other device. What is the issue? 24v + 60watt 4ohm damage the board orther components or IC? If IC then IC can work upto 26v in data sheet. But woofer say 8ohm. Any ideas from your end?
