I jumped on after the Coachella video, I really thought going into it that you would all be the typical "influencers" but after watching I found a bunch of likeable lads. Going back through your old stuff and the podcasts, it's been a fantastic time. I'm so glad I found TPD.

Lads; Burning Man… it’s a fascinating, unique event. And you are fascinating, unique lads. I need to attempt to improve your understanding of what it is. A bit like with Coachella, it’s internet presence doesn’t even remotely accurately depict what it’s like to be there. Why did that commenter say you wouldn’t survive Burning Man? Probably coz compared to Coachella it’d be a more physically gruelling experience. I think it’s hotter and dryer. It’s also at 4,000ft above sea level so there can be altitude sickness. And the dust on the ground is also very slightly alkaline so it can be a bit harsh on the skin, give you cracked hands/feet (Playa foot). It’s also a week long. Some people will shout “party medium” in a ‘party hard’ kind of voice, which is a fair point. You also have to bring everything (everything) you need to live for 7 days in the desert. All your food, all your water. The only things you can buy there are ice and coffee. Literally, that’s all- it’s like a rule. Ice and coffee only. There aren’t even any bins. You’ve to take all your rubbish away with you at the end of the week. Your normal festival shopping videos will look like nipping down to the corner shop for a few bits and pieces compared to your pre-burning man video. There’s LOADS of music, 24/7, everywhere. 90% is obscure deep electronic, but you’re also likely to find any other type of music. Black Rock City is a vast place full of endless surprises. It’s not a festival. There are no headline acts, no one’s paid to perform - it’s all musicians playing voluntarily, for free. But that’s one of the unusual and amazing things about Burning Man: ‘the gifting economy’… everyone is providing everything for free. The music, the sound stages, the bars (which give away free drinks all week)… there’ll be none of your stupid $146 Coachella rounds. You actually will spend almost nothing once you’ve arrived. (You should bring something to gift others in-keeping with that ethos) When you arrive and start exploring you will encounter a constant supply of bizarre and interesting things. You might find a maze of mirrors with a cocktail bar at the end, a roller skate rink, a tattoo parlour, a playground. (And weirder less cleancut things.) Everything is open to everyone, total inclusivity. No money is involved. All you have to do is carry a reusable cup with you so you can accept any free drinks you are offered. When night comes, the place becomes spectacular. You just gotta see it. A glowing, bustling, multi-coloured party city in the desert. Hundreds of art cars drifting slowly in all directions. Stopping to become festival-quality stages, with enormous sound systems and spectacular visual displays. For safety, you’ve gotta light yourself up too. No street lights in the desert. Get onto China well advance and load up on EL wire and other light-up things to decorate your body and your bike at night. Yes, you’ll want a bike. …But just think of the spectacle: enormous illuminated artwork, stages everywhere with incredible visual displays, 70,000 people individually lit-up, and 70,000 lit up bikes, all in the middle of the desert at night. It’s mad, you won’t have seen anything like it. It’s an amazing festival just outside Milton Keynes, sounds like a shithole but it’s in a pretty countryside part of England, closest train station is market Harbrough and there’s so so so much cool shit to see and do once your there! Id love to see all your reactions to everything and see how far you lean into the different activities an all that :) look into it since you haven’t heard of it yet! Probably one of the last untouched, un gentrified, family & booze friendly festival in the UK! I’ve been three times and would go every year I possibly can! Would be made up to hear a Shambala vid in the works😎🥳

I know I am a year late haha but there are some weird comments. I love watching the lads walk around and show what else is at the festivals, I like hearing their banter with each other as they make me laugh so much and why on earth would you go to a festival with your mates to chase girls? I mean, I'm a middle aged woman but when I was younger and did this kind of stuff, getting off with a bloke was the very last thing on the agenda. Music, drinking and having a laugh were priority.
