Every point M.Moiz and Shehzad are making are so valid. and every answer the guests(admins) gave were so flimsy and unconvincing. It seems they are not interested in taking any responsibility or even trying to understand the accountability of managing such a group. I felt a lack of enthusiasm. M.Moiz and Shehzad on other hand, amazing podcast. Both eloquent, aware and such positive energy. Kudos.

Thank you creating this space of public accountability. The admins of any group whatsoever need to realise that group spaces nowadays directly reflect and influence societal culture.

This is my first time listening! I can't imagine the podcast without Moiz! Shehzad and Moiz - makes me really happy you're having such important conversations! The other two guys are really out of their depths. They clearly run a space that promotes toxic masculinity and have nothing to say here. Also why is masculinity so fragile that it crumbles if one woman parks her car the wrong way?

I have a two year old daughter and I lived my life with always having better guy friends than girls. However the way men and society in Pakistan have changed over the past two decades it scares the life out of me that I will be raising her in a place like this. Given the fact that I was also raised here. So it is not like I am from another society altogether. The one thing I felt was lacking in this entire conversation was the realisation of privilege by men which is essential to intrinsically resolve most issues. As a woman when I see you guys talk amongst yourself where you are discussing some very important and pressing issues (which I immensely appreciate) the sad part is that like most men everyone consistently are so set in their opinions and there is not a single instant even when you discuss how women must not be maligned on your platform et al that you point out the male privilege. Saying that these actions by men are now internalised genetically and it’ll take a long time to end is giving them more space to continue doing what they’re doing. I had never even heard of this group before I came across this video (Sorry. Clearly I’m living under a rock) but if such a huge platform exists, perhaps instead of constantly justifying the crazy behaviour that in turn are making people feel unsafe in the society at large, put your foot down and call such behaviours out. Apart from all of it I felt that we need more Moizes in the world. Not because I love his bombshell videos (because I do) or that he’s gay (I have a special place in my heart for the LGBTQ but even that’s not the reason here). It is because his opinions and arguments are based on nothing but logic. He doesn’t mince his words and doesn’t choose where he speaks up and buries his head in the sand. If he ever has a group of his own with other like minded people, I’d actually join that group myself instead of declining repeated invitations to toxic “soul” groups and the like. Apologies for a very long post but as a mother I feel very strongly about the kind of men this society is raising. It is a garbage in garbage out world, if we don’t fix ourself as a generation TRG next generation will face even worse issues.

You need to bring Moiz for the third time plzzz. I want to listen to his point of views.

Finally as far as these admins of SBP are concerned، they're too apologetic and circular in their arguments (?) because if administering a group is THIS arduous then please pass the responsibility to people who ARE willing and capable to run a group of 35k+ male 'circus'.

These admins are too cozy in 'enjoying' the scale/reach of SBP but at the same time simply shrugging their responsibility in unboxing/questioning misogyny when it actually matters - like simply having a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for it - Admin Approval IS ALWAYS A RESPONSIBILITY and the choice to blame it on 'human error' is just way too convenient.

This is such weak moderation of a group so large. Learn something from well-moderated reddit groups

I am so happy that Noman actually spoke about being a Muslim and following the teaching of Islam of his child comes out as gay/trans...i felt like there was so much 'radical' energy in that conversation and generally, no one considers the religion anymore (which is still a huge part of many people out there)

I was oblivious to what happens on "Soul Brothers", tbh I didn't even think about asking my guy friends. Its good to know what's happening and to put a face on the names on the admins of the group. From what I understand of this is that; yes the admins wish they were better at this but they also want their group to be running and being active and that's where the masses come in ! An overall great podcast, you and Moiz really did put them in the spotlight ... Looking forward to MRs Khan !!

Great decision to address Soul Brothers and its admins, and to approach these issues. But tbh, the moderation needs to be tighter. There were too many tangents, trivialization of certain serious issues because of misplaced levity, and the number of times Shehzad interrupted or talked over Moiz was noticeably off-putting. Love the idea of the podcast though, I think it's great what you're doing, and I'm looking forward to future episodes. ETA: watching further, and now it's literally just straight out shutting down something Moiz wanted to talk about? Feels weird to watch? Also what's wrong with intellectualising an issue (that does require more insight in the social sphere) especially if it's being made accessible on a podcast?

OK I have to ask this now, I never knew anything about Moiz, I only came to know him through Mooroo's and then Shehzad's interviews of him. He seems like a good fellow with some amazing insights. BUT! I don't understand why he sometimes imitates as a woman. Is he a transgender? Please help me understand.

brilliant idea to bring up those on screen who have some how managed to have certain power to reshape public opinions. . . . . this is so important to assess these elements that whats their standing on different aspects of society. I missed it live but I would ask them their take on the ethnic neutrality as an admin specially when society gets highly polarized somethimes on some issues.in recent times SBP has been poorly managed in this regard.
