If anyone is curious, the mini mini cooper was just a few hundred, and the desk was about $4500. This comes after a thorough skunking, so it helped dispel that a bit...a lot of tough setups.
Thanks Katherine and all the folks who served or are serving their country in the military. The world is a bit safer thanks to your sacrifices. :-). Condolences to the military families who lost loved ones. Their sacrifice and bravery wasn't in vain :-( . By the way. Well deserved win :-)
This makes me cry so much. It's just not the same anymore now that Geeorge Gray is the announcer. Rich and Drew had great comraderie and a strong friendship on the show.
Have to say I was disappointed the guy squatting and lying in the floor didn’t win. What would he have done?? Start rolling around, kicking in the air, hug Drew’s legs?
Then they can reject the prize; or they can sell it, pay the taxes from what they sold it for, and pocket the cash. This is less applicable for airfare.
So when these people fall on the floor and jump up & down like they're in kindergarten, is it because they drank some kind of game-show kool-aid or do they tell them they're NOT on NATIONAL TELEVISION?!?!?!?!
They're told in the preshow that enthusiasm is encouraged. I know on Let's Make a Deal, if a contestant does not appear happy with the prize, they'll cut and start over with a new contestant.
