Tracey Emin has good taste in artists. Anyone who appreciates Bourgeois, Munch and Schiele knows a thing or two.

Louise Bourgeois was a great female artist. So were her installations, sculptures, as the Cells, Janus Fleuri, which I love; Four eyes staring, those illuminating pupils, Mother….You name it. A prolific artistic career. Today is the perfect occasion to celebrated and remember her legacy.

Tracey is one hundred per cent right! Ms. B was a busy bee right up until.the end! She danced at the Mudd Club till.3 am. We felt so.protective of her because at a distance she looked very tiny and fragile, but i forgot about her hands! That's right! She was a Strong little old lady!

@@carmellewis2466 He's still correct. She can't draw the basics. Check out her drawings. Embarrassingly poor work. As for the job, friends in high places.

True. They are so bad, but she has influential friends in the art buying world.

She needs to tidy that bed. I think she might be able to handle that, but a simple drawing could be a challenge. Remember the crowds of the deluded. gasping at the emperor's new clothes. They're still with us. Wahid is the kid in the crowd calling it what it really is. Thank you!

She can definitely talk about art. When it comes to looking at her work and how wealthy art dealers, who have invested their money in it and promoted it, I'm immediately reminded of the emperor's new clothes. Frame this!!

would love to see your art. what makes art 'good' to you? there is expression and emotion in her work and if you cant see that, then it's simply not for you.

thank you great video! but louise doesn't seem to have such big breasts on her photos lol. that being said, i think she looks a lot like marcel duchamp (similar smirk, sparkly eyes and overall skeletal look), which is pretty cool

art is 🔮 science is alchemy is a visionary 🎨🧙‍♂ art. However, when ignorance is strength and war is peace art is put aside and commerce 👜 and economy ✍ become the merchants of Venice art the naufrage ship and the artiste a future victim on the crucifix✝🕎 leading to an enslaved population rather than freedom that the artist hoped for the population. 🐕‍🦺

Is it just me who finds it is really hard to understand and appreciate the modern art?
@dimitrilikissas
@dimitrilikissas 2 года назад
It's not so much about understanding, it's more about what resonates with you around a particular work and then find out within yourself it did.
@paulch3742
@paulch3742 2 года назад
i might be biased here as someone who studies art, but. no you are not alone. There is a lot of different kinds of modern art made by lots of modern artists and a lot of it is hard to understand. But there is so many kinds out there that there should be stuff that you can enjoy and appreciate, even without understanding. There is work out there that is thought provoking, or fun, or funny, or interactive, or passionate, or eccentric, or elitist, or work that requires an insane amount of background knowledge to understand. I also think you shouldn't have to try to understand all art to appreciate it! it might just take finding something you really enjoy looking at and then learning more about the artist, and what art that artists loves. Its like many other things in life. I get the gist of rugby, I know theres people who dedicate their lives to it as players or fans, but I don't personally enjoy it, and i wont force myself to, but i also wont criticize those that do love it just because I don't.
