The ninth graders at my school did this for their first semester project and it was the greatest thing! At the end, the guy who played Shrek was playing guitar in 'I'm a Believer' and he booped Fiona's nose with his guitar and it was so cute!
I played one of the three pigs when we first did this musical back in 2017, and honestly I didn’t like the role very well but I liked being in the musical. The guy that played Pinocchio was amazing though. He always cracked us up 😂

we have one person playing the sugar plum fairy, and a completeley different dude playing gingi. the thing is his voice is crazy deep (he usually sings bass), so when he does gingi's voice it sounds hilarious 😭😭

I got Pinocchio in the play at my school,idk how but I'll take it😂 Definitely. Update, since I forgot this comment existed. Our show was postponed, so I auditioned again and got Fiona. We did our show outside, since it allowed us to take our masks off! I’d say it went well! It was a fun experience!
Yes! Our teachers made us listen to the whole soundtrack at least once a week and it’s ingrained in my mind now. We perform in April and I got Pinnochio too!
Me and a few of my friends are in shrek and one of my friends are mama bear and she slays her role in playing the dragon in our play and it’s so fun but I love this number I’m in it and hopefully I can be the Cheshire Cat! (We can pick our fairy tale creatures if we aren’t someone with a solo!)

I’m Pinnochio and I’m having a bit of trouble with Pinocchio’s high voice, it’s not as if I can’t hit falsetto, it’s just hard to get the voice! Any tips?
I play the mad hatter, and im so torn about how to play it off. I absolutely love this song and the choreography but I have to play into the part of the mad hatter, I don't know how he would deal with being sent into a swamp or how he would take ridicule about his hat, but we'll just have to see
I'm currently doing this play for my school show and I'm working so hard to do well. I have a lot of fast changes and at least 10 songs to memorize, the choreography, and lot of lines. This helps a lot because I can play games and practice the songs!
I'm doing this next year for our musical, however I really don't want some of the lines they changed for the Jr. Version to change, some of them are fine, but others I prefer as they are. Like the Big Bad Wolfs line "They tore my cotton granny dress and called me a hot-n-tranny mess."
Last school year I got casted as the white rabbit as part of the ensemble for this play. This song has been stuck in my mind ever since and I still remember all of the choreography lol
