Great Video and something the like of me probably don't appreciate the work that goes on behind the daily running.

Our local permanent way gang know it as the outside gymnasium.

Really interesting video of 'behind the scenes'

I took our Grandson for a trip behind 53808 with the S&DJR Soc and had a fab day, so good in fact that I joined up with the society when we came home! Great railway, although I find it a little worrying that the demographic is the same on every railway...

Exceptionally beautiful video! English countryside is the best. Hopefully there are young people ready to start doing the work instead of these veterans.

I must check the website before the COVID outbreak as walk the line used to be a good event to walk the track from Alton to the other end about 10 miles?
