Don't get me wrong, I'm far from an expert, but I've heard that if you're scraping your pegs before you're getting your knees down it means that you're not hanging off enough. Outstanding vid! it really let's those of us who haven't yet been to a trackday know what it feels like.
that must have been such fun! I only subscribed yesterday but been watching your videos for about a week now and enjoying every single one. Great stuff mate!
seriously i think this is your best vid ever, that on board footage is excellent, i was actually cheering you on when you overtook that guy at just after 5mins in, brilliant, i'd love to try this but what if my bike ended up like those busted ones :( really good video :D
Great video Sven, so nice. I want to go to that track when I get back over to Europe. I am so ready to move back. Do they limit the CCs in any of the european countries you have been to for street bikes? I was born and raised in the Azores Portugal and we had laws saying how many cc's your bike could be and not to exceede.
Wow, one of your best vids Sven, got to agree with the comment further up, you done exceptionably well on your bike, she is a lump after all. Good on yer mate and brave enough to video it as well!
OMG, im so jealous dude..... Looks great. Nice to see the accident guys walking about chatting :-) The speeds they get on that straight just scare me dude, i feel like Capt'Slow now ;-) Pt2 pleasssssse.......
Being on the track means squeezing 100% off of your bike and road. Something you should never do on the open road. No chicken strips, huh. Nicely done! What are those tyres? Metzeler Racetec?
i needed to ask u somin and forgot so im just gonna ask u somin else.....u going to brands on 9th of august to watch BSB??i cant cos ill be in Cornwall:(
track shagged tyres look groovy :) Try snetterton it destroys the right hand side, makes for an intersting profile tyre though... O and remember 70% of track crash happen on road tyres
paddock hill bend taking another victim, where one of our drivers crashed writting off the racecar. awesome video i am a great fan of mordeth13 vids and just watching afew urs real good. new suscriber u can say haha
You should test your line on a simulator before taking your own bike on the track, unless your in my situation which is that Moroso is not on any simulator i know of. To get your knee down, lean lower than the bike. (i'm not a pro, and I never did it, just sounds right to me)
sorry, it's really none debatable lol, it was the amount from last years track days, the findings was from hottrax etc. All im saying is that people could avoid wrecking their £7000 bike by having suitable tyres, atleast track bias tyres such as sportmax's or supercorsas, as oppose to say... battlaxes lol
just a pointer fella next time you do a track day unbolt the little extension from under your pegs coz the fear of god will be put through you if that digs in and allows you the peace of mind to lean over more :)
so 9 hours is good ur sport tourers tire was nackered so the first cornaer is horrid i no cos i walked on the circut before..so really u run wide ur screwed
