AFTER A 5 YEAR WAIT I GOT HER, THE ALL WELDED TRACKER GRIZZLY 1754 THE PERFECT 17FT FISHING BOAT.. THIS IS A SHORT SHOW AND TELL BEFORE I HEAD OUT FOR THE MAIDIEN VOYAGE.
This is definitely the one I want. As soon as I can figure out how to put a 20+ gallon fuel tank and I will get the 75. Friend of mine has this exact boat with the 60 and it will only run 38mph, which is ok but, still not enough fuel for big reservoirs. Great video Brother. Thanks
this is the perfect set up, i love it last year i got the 14 foot, its a great little boat with a 5hp motor. it would not be fun on a windy day, it's small. yours would be ideal for what i want to die with a boat. love it, i bet your super happy with it. thank you so so much for sharing and i hope you have a blessed week my friend. i would be excited too, congrats on the new boat, i love it I've seen it in use since this video posted, keep us posted on how well you love it as well as what you chawed etc. ha your assistant is adorable mine are in their 20's now they grow up fast dale
Love it man... its exaclty what I would want if we were not moving to the gulf in a couple of months. We have an old Lowe 14 ft that fixed up like a bass boat and just put a new 9.9 like yours on it. After researching we found that salt water and aluminum is not a good match...so we also have a 22 ft pontoon about 10 years old that we are putting up for sale soon. Our hopes are to find a good fiberglass center console thats in as good shape as our pontoon. maybe a 19 to 20 ft. Anyway, this grizzly is a perfect boat that will last a long long time too. Enjoy that rascal, I subbed so please be sure to post some vids of your adventures in her. You wont have any problem launching just take you a few minutes longer than that 14 lowes of yours....looks like you got a good head on your shoulders so it wont take you long to have that launching and loading down pat. That ones big enough you can spend the nite in it. Have fun sir.
Really nice boat! I got the 1648 with merc40 hp tiller with the big tiller, I love this boat! I put a camo bimini top on it and the girlfriend doesn't get fried to a crisp anymore.
Great video! I've been entertaining the thought of buying the 1754, but I got cold feet when I read a review of using it in salt water. Seems there may be an electrolysis issue. Now that you've had yours for nearly a year, and I'm assuming you're using it in salt water...how is it? Thanks in advance...Tight Lines!
That's strange how your dealer didn't put your stickers on for you. I bought a topper and they put the stickers and numbers on before I took off with it.
I work for municipality. We have several 1860s for our dredge operation. Great, stable work boats. We beat the tar out of them. Hold up great. City may upgrade to Whaley boats. My personal boat is a 22ft North River Seahawk. That boat will serve you well!
