oh, no sir, i wouldn't even dream of educating anyone on boats. This is more like things to be careful about when you inspect your new boat. I still think with all of these imperfections the boat is a good value and there is nothing else offered in this price range

thanks for spending the time to write a few lines. These things are what makes it worth. I just bought extended warranty for the engine directly from mercury - another 5 years for $1,000. This is crazy cheap in my opinion, especially because it comes from Mercury, and u don't need to deal with shady insurances.. Remember though, you can ONLY buy extended warranty WHILE still in warranty! That way they know there is nothing wrong with your engine..

@@ifishcatfish well I bought a 2014 Tracker Pro Guide deep V 175 combo this week (pending an engine compression test...owner had one done a year ago so I am optimistic it still is fine) and went searching online and found this video again!. lol

prices didn't go up. Dollar went down. If u measure prices in dollars, then everything went up. The dollar is the problem. The printing of the dollar.

well my parents came to visit from Bulgaria and we went to Lake Geneva for a swim. Million dollar mansions all around. Beach is private property, but not the lake. But we found a 5' deep bank and jumped in the water for a swim. Then I tried to get back in the boat. Impossible. Can't beach the boat either because I can get charged for trespassing. I had to tie a loop at the end of the anchor rope, and tie the rope to the cleat, and put my foot in the loop for leverage. I’ve heard of guys riding their lower unit up with the power trim.

did it immediately after this video. Took it to a shop, and the shop found a way to put two full size batteries inside, even though i thought it didn't fit.. When fully charged i can drift 12 hours continuously. However i can't charge them fully for 12 hours, came back from fishing last night and immediately plugged them, and this morning went fishing again, and around 3 pm they depleted. Need 24 hours to fully charge with a minnkota 2 bank charger

Good points! Taxes very a lot from state to state, but even in the horrible IL they were not bad, i paid less than 1000 total.. The 60HP is pretty good for solo or 2 people. Tried 4 people a few times - difficult. You will be able to take 4 much easier.. I did put another 4 K in the boat for Ulterra and Helix10... so it gets up there for sure by the time you are done with it. Of course we are never 'done' with it : )

if u have 3 or 4 people often, then yes. But with just 2 people this thing just zooms. The problem is that people 3 and 4 not only add more weight, but they sit on the back, and there is too much weight on the back and no weight on the front and the boat just drives tilted. Bigger engine will definitely help if u have more people often. I fish myself 95% of the time and for me bigger engine would just burn gas for no benefit

go for it. If i have to buy a boat again today i will buy another tracker. Yeah, has a lot of little issues with quality, but hull is solid, mercury is fine, and that PRICE... 10K lower than anything else with this setup..

thanks for dropping a line! I wanted to hit every issue i knew of so people are aware and the video looks somewhat negative. But its been great 40 months. Never had a single breakdown of any kind, all issues are cosmetic, and I've grown to love this thing like a wife.

Maybe if one day i do a video about my rod holders. It is screwed directly to my rod holder rack. That is neat because u don't need to drill holes in your boat and to remove it u just remove screws from the disposable wood rack. But nobody else can use my idea, unless u have the same rod rack. But I've been thinking about making a video about my rod rack. Maybe one of these weekends when i get skunked - lol

i bought it 5 years ago, from ebay. DOn't remember anything and i can't see it anywhere on the bimini. Look at the manufacturer specs for beam widht, thats the only thing u need

it weights over 3000 pounds with trailer and engine and gas and anchors and garbage. I pull it with a Subaru. You will need all wheel drive at the ramp..

Solar Fry so far everything drains and as u can see no rust anywhere. I am from chicago tho, so it has never seen salt. Frankly all the issues with the boat are shown on the video. I spared nothing. If they used better glue and thicker aluminum and had better quality control on allignment of panels it could be a great boat. But i think its a good boat already. U go and find me a deepV w 60hp for this price.

if quality is ur main goal, go somewhere else. If it is value , even with all these flaws it is still good value. Even today no other boat can come close to this package. Try to 'build' the same boat on the Lund website and u may change your mind : )

@@ifishcatfish You will not get the boat for 17 grand. In Minnesota, they are all sold out of 2018 and I bought the last 2019. These boats sell very fast. The new 2020 model is already coming out this September. I paid 25 Grand (2k down payment) for a total of $23,000 left over financed over a 7 year period. Which equates to $380 a month. Excluding insurance, gas, etc. Granted, I got the vinyl floor option, the boat cover option, and upgraded to a 75 horse motor. The 60 just is not enough. I also got trailer brakes for $445, installed a two battery bank for a 24v motor for $150, had them install the custom trolling motor (its an 80 lb thrust Motor Guide I5 ($1600 trolling motor). They also needed to install another battery is it only comes with one for $130 extra for the battery. Also, you will need another battery tray if you ever upgrade the volts which costed $8. All in all costed me $1,050 in dealer options plus another $713 in other options. The video fails to mention taxes and many other fees; which adds up to another $2,000.

paul lovallo depends on your income. For my income, lund is too much. For some people lund is too cheap. If u are really picky, a lot of things will bother u. If u only care if the boat is running, everything seems to be running. No leaks. This boat is great value, not great quality. I bought mine for 17k tho. U must want bigger engine etc..

resale value seems to be best with the larger motor, plus I am fortunate to be able to afford it! Never been catfishing on purpose looks like fun!

i_fish, So after a 3 month search I finally pick up my new used boat tomorrow, Yes went with another Tracker after 2 failed attempts to purchase a Crestliner. I found a 2016 Tracker Pro Guide V-175 Combo, with a 115 Mercury, with only 38 hours on the boat! Sold my 2016 Tracker 160 for the same price I bought it for 2 years earlier! I guess the moral of the story is take good care of your boat and add some goodies on it and break even after two years! How is your boat running, spring is here in the south we are in the pre-spawn and fish are biting!

i've owned it 4 years. Unless u have more money, there is nothing else to buy. There is no other DeepV with 60HP and walk through windshield in this price neighborhood. Everything still works, but the little things are not done well. I will keep this boat until I have like 35K for a smokercraft or something like that.. Which won't be fore a while , unless u all subscribe to my channel and watch all my videos :)

Right. But u can say that for anything. How much was ur house worth in 97 and now? The boats are not exactly the same. Engines are much better today. But ur house is exactly the same, only older, and is still worth a lot more today, just because of inflation

I installed a huge 24V ulterra and 2 batteries. Now I troll with the Ulterra. Just give it a few waypoints and relax, no need to work the steering wheel and waste gas. My boat is so small for the ulterra that i can go over 4mph if i want, which is way too fast for trolling. Also the 2 batteries are only half drained after a full day of trolling, because the boat is so light. Should have done that on day one. Missed 3 years of lazy trolling..

Greetings, Swedish brother! This is insane price for a Tracker boat. Tariffs are going nuts lately. This was my first boat and nobody in my family ever had a boat. When I bought it, I was impressed. But later I made friends with boats and got into some Lunds, Rangers, Smoker Craft... and all of those boats were better than mine. Everything was thicker, sturdier, properly aligned, even though those boats were older than mine. However I still love my boat. Most of those issues can be fixed yourself if u a little handy. I have had many great days on the water with this boat and nothing has broken if i don't count the trailer. I dinged it again yesterday. I don't care about dings on this boat, and i love that too. Honestly, I could have said its a good boat because most people don't even notice the issues I notice, but i wanted to be honest. I know everyone loves their boat and talks only positives about it.. heya, ye the high prices comes from VAT, customs, shipping, and an extra VAT or somethinglike that on 25% , allot of bs is added to the boat, lucky u guys that are living in the states, direct contact too the dealer , unfortunately sweden doesnt have anything that comes close to an "bassboat oriented boat layout", its only pure aluminium here with no castdecks etc....so i went with Tracker, this waiting is killing me thou .. that us trailer isnt allowed here in swe, hehe might be reason for that, reasons u mentioned :P, who knows, ye agree with u, all thou i dont have the boat yet, but ye, must be allot of do it urself with this boat incase of emergency, hope the welds doesnt break :/ nighmare stories ive heard about tracker, lets see what 2018 model brings to the table , urs might be the last from the "shit line" haha , knock on wood .

yes, most of the price is pain that governments inflict on their own people. I hear your tax burden in sweden is the highest in the world. And highest in history of humanity. But USA is quickly drowning too. This trend is not reversible until total collapse like in Soviet Union and communist china. I hope all is good with your boat, my hull has been great, despite me dinging it all the time.

I have a 2018 v175 pro guide. I really like it, seems to do the job for me . I do have a problem with the paint job its at the dealer right now getting painted. I dont believe the are powder coated like they say.

tonylou1234 yes, i have 80 lb ulterra ipilot w ilink. I managed to fit two batteries after all. Super tight but doable. One will be perpendicular to the other and the forst one needs to get pushed all the way to one side. Extremely tight but worked with 2 full size batteries. Last week it held in current 8 hours on spot lock and batteries were only half empty. Maybe because they are new, but amazing result. I was not impressed by the power of the 80lb thrust. Speed went up 1 mile only. Buy the spot lock and being able to deploy it from my seat while driving around is great for fishing alone. Also being able to give it a point from my humminbird and it goes there is good for trolling. Great upgrade if u can afford it. I did not install myself tho.

You have exactly what I wanted. Which size batteries do you use? Any reliability problems with deploying the Ulterra? Would you still recommend the UlterraI? Which model of the Hummingbird do you use? How long is the shaft? Would you be willing to take by phone? I have several more questions like where did u purchase? Cost? How is it connected? Well i've had the ulterra only 1 month and so far no reliability issues. I also have a Minnkota 2bank charger (MK210D). Everything has worked flawlessly so far. Never read the manual. Just powered it up and figured everything. Very intuitive menu. I recommend it not because of the extra power, but because you dont need anchors any more, you can troll so easily by setting up waypoints or just giving it direction to keep. Autodeploy is amazing feature if u jump spots.. I paid full price at bass pro shops, but I have never seen deals on those, just buy where the tax is lowest. I have a Helix 10 with DI and SI. Mine is G1 but still connects to Ultera and communicates perfectly and they share all waypoints. Its quite amazing. Changes fishing. The features are worth the money, not the extra power. I did not get the long shaft because I dont have big lakes, but if u do, i recommend the long one. I always deploy my shaft all the way down and its not even a foot in the water. I can see how big waves will be a problem. That said, I actually prefer short one because it does not stick up high when I cast my net or fish on top of it. Mine is perfect.

I got my boat. It's similar to yours except I have a single console. I want the Ulterra and trying to figure out how you got 2 batteries in the storage space? Did you use the 27 batteries or 24? I cut the 4 corner screw holes and can put them in perpendicular to the space but can't figure out how to put in the batteries and turn it sideways. I would like to use the 27 batteries. Any suggestions?

Check if your boat has same dimension. I think my model is wider but I am not sure. If external dimensions are the same, you can fit two full size batteries (27). You cant turn them. You have to take them OUT, and place them in already turned. That is the way. It is still super tight. But works. I have 2 27s

No, everything is the same. The body is very strong and no signs of damage even though i beach it from time to time. All accessories work. I replaced the trolling motor with ulterra 80 lb and life has been good. U can watch my catfish videos from this year where i troll with the new motor. I may try to realign some panels this summer, but these are cosmetic issues.

i don't think its offered. I just searched it. The V17 is 33K tho, and was 23K when i bought mine, with same exact engine.

i have never pushed it really shallow... don't quite know.. It is a deepV so i don't think it goes very shallow

i've used it in bad conditions in lake Michigan many times. Check my perch videos. It feels tiny. It is not a big water boat.

Yep, the cats are on the beds. You can if you want catch females and dinks. Give it about 3 weeks and the bite will fire back up. The big tournaments are fun a few are more like festivals with a fishing competition, a lot of extras, fellowship and a bit of a rush on tournament day. I don't really like the small regular tourneys. Monsters on the Ohio, Mississippi River Monsters and Mad Jack's are my favorite.

not because of families, although it is true that this boat has a lot more space than even 190. It is about where the space is. I want the space in the cabin, so i can sit under the bimini top and do bottom fishing, and often i sleep overnight in the cabin. I call it a cabin but u know what i mean. If u lay on the floor, the wall is 2 feet above you, and protecting you from wind, and is also 7 feel long, so i can stretch and sleep like a baby on these night trips. Also if u ride in waves... deepV is so much easier on u

it flies with 2 people. if u gona have more than 2 in the boat, go bigger. The problem is that the third person sits on the back, and then weight distribution changes and it takes much longer to get up on plane. But with 2 people... i am ZINGING

WOMPUS CATTERS Outdoors walk through is not. Some things u can check during inspection. But some of them look good when the boat is new but because of cheap glue or thin material get out of shape later. It is still the best value for this kind of boat.

I have an '18 and the left side came loose and pretty much collapsed. Had to hold it up and close the walk thru part for the ride home. By the way the attaching hardware for the bimini top sucks. When I saw the hinge used on this one it gave me some great ideas. Also get a ladder! If you fall off look out!

talking about worthless but expensive stuff - their seats are god awful. It comes with 3 and I use non of them . I keep them brand new for when i sell it one day. Just sell with one seat and let people buy whats comfy. Or at least with just two - no need for the third. I do wish they used thicker aluminum everywhere there is weight though. That's one sacrifice i wouldn't do even in a cheap boat. I hate floor flexing under my weight

I have a standard garage but dont know how big it is. But you can find the specs of the boat on tracker website. Also, the hitch of the trailer is collapsing, and that really helps

It will hold up fine but its too small for big water. I tried it in michigan. It shakes too much on the waves. I would prefer something bigger and more stable.

I'm guessing very well. Don't hang around for storms to pass, get out of the water. The boats are outfitted with stringers that go to the rear of the transom. They are super hard to sink.

i_fish i go out when its nice and sometime it gets nasty when we are out, my first thoughts where hope she does good , but then it was surprising how well it did . The width of the boat is awsome and very stable

well this video was made long time ago. Even here in the USA these boats cost much more now. Or, if you prefer, the money we use is worth a lot less.

i switched to Lithium and managed to shove 2 of the 12V, slightly on angle. But padded everything with foam and nothing can wiggle even an inch. There are some options for sure..

Lacey Kevin they change everything cosmetically but the shape looked the same to me. Colors and materials are slightly different too but there is not one meaningful difference
