Simply AWESOME! Love the rear wheel steering. And one can see how you built it - 1000cc to drive the tracker from the rear with the steering and the tracker engine powers the blower - brilliant!
Very ingenious, 4 wheel drive and 4 wheel streat, just awesome. Congratulations, best stuff I've seen so far on RU-vid. You're a genius no doubt. Regards.
I used a samurai rear axle in the front to give enough clearance for the blower drive shaft, the differential is not centered on these samurai axles.I also have a lot less weight on the steering wheel when i lift the snowblower, it`s alot easier to steer that way.
Nice Job Claud. We were going to do a direct drive unit but wanted to be able to run our unit on different vehicles and still be able to use it to plow. That is a great compact unit. Jerre
No! The body is all original with the 1600cc tracker engine running the blower with the front drive shaft off the tracker transfercase. There is a 3cyl. sprint engine in the back to move the body. A rear samurai housing was used in the front and the front sam. housing is in the back so that`s why it`s now a rear wheel steering 4X4.Hope you understand!!
I have a JD544 loader to push snow and i use this to stack the snow higher so it takes less space in my parking lot. There is a lot of snowfall here in Quebec!
Awesome! I never would have thought of that. There should be an episode about this on the discovery channel. Monster garage step aside, here comes Claude from Quebec. There was a couple of Quebec boys on "Full Metal Challenge" that totally dominated the competition a few years ago, would have taken it all but for loosing a track at the very end.
the Sprint engine is still running the transaxle (YES) , with the CV axles now being the F&R drivelinelines correct? ( one of the sprint axle drive a samurai transfercase and the transfercase drives both F&R drivelines,so i still have 4x4 with low gear) And the Tracker's F axle was a rear axle, and the rear axle was a F axle. Am I right with this? ( i use a rear SAMURAI axle in the front and a front SAMURAI axle in the back)
Very cool. I have read that running an axle backward like that has a much higher tendency to break the ring or worm gear. Because the gears are not a straight cut. I have a samurai and as far as I know the transfer case has straight cut gears (hence why they are slightly noisey) so it should be fine. I suppose if the axle was flipped it would then spin right but I thought then there is oiling problems because the pinion bearings are above the oil line. Did you address this?
The blower is run by the tracker 1600cc engine, the 3 cyl. 1000cc sprint engine in the back run the body. First time i hear about a bug snogo, i will try to find informations on the net.

So I'll take a guess that the body of the truck was spun around 180 degrees on the frame...? Does it have 1 forward speed (reverse) and 4 reverse speeds (forward)? Looks like a great machine but surely not street legal.
Im thinking to get a hitch carrier to carry a motor and the shaft all the way to the front connect to blower so.( same i deal snowblower for atvs? you think it work?>???
WOW!!!
