They’re making campaign tracks as difficult as totd. Got 20 AT’s in winter, then every campaign less, six so far this campaign

I think all the map are good but it’s lacking dankness(idk how to write it ) , there is not a lot of precision stuff in the campaign , overall it’s the best « not too dank » map

+- I love this campaign, but I also loved last campaign, so about equal for me

Love it, banger variety which imo is the most important factor in the campaign.

not very motivating for people who are trying the free version though. you could finish all the AT's in 5 minutes. they do look nicer than usual though.

I love multilaps, and I love ice. This is best of both worlds for me.

Was Summer 2024-22 not FS? That was extremely tough, I'm bad at speed sliding so that bugger took me 4 hours to AT. I'm looking forward to hunting the nascar map, it's my fave style.

@@midastheunwise2423 that's fs, but i personally wouldn't consider it pure fs (only road and platform). But I haven't been able to play the game much for a long time, so maybe that opinion would've changed if i could've played it more

@@Diclonius02 never did official campaign discoveries in cam 1 since I always try to be the first and/or fastest one to get all author medals which worked out :)

@@nukewurld I like the new campaign I would say honestly only the black tracks leave a little to be desired. and I commented that as I was hunting the wood/snow car map and then right after that the wet wood map and i definitely snapped a little 😂. They’re good maps definitely not for me tho.

Its still a fact theyre hurting their game by forcing these cars down our throats, the vast majority of the community doesnt enjoy them, which means less people play matchmaking and play the game in general, sounds also absurd from a company pov tbh. Theyre a cool thing to have, but they currently take way too much space

@@airun91 Is there actually any statistics to back that fact up? People say it a lot but I have never seen anyone back it up.

@@0x2A_ its more of a feeling rather than actual stats as being part of the community, if there is smoke there is fire, if people always complain and everytime this subject is brought up the majority agrees on saying that they'd rather have campaigns without alt cars, it has to mean something at some point. I guess nadeo must have some data about that, but we'll never really know whats the answer, maybe this topic just impacts the most involved part of the playerbase and it actually doesnt represent that much in regards to the whole playerbase, but its still something that they atleast have to keep in mind if they want to please everybody (I mean the idea of having the regular stadium campaign and then some alt car campaign with maybe 10-15 tracks doesnt seem too bad, more content for everybody sounds good to me)

​@@airun91I won't deny that a non-insignificant % of the community dislike the alt cars (I'm not much of a desert enjoyer myself, but I do like snow and rallE). However, you have to realise that those that take issue with things are often the loudest. This is compounded by the fact that discussion platforms such as Reddit have a higher % of users who like to complain simply by the nature of the platform (people who like to post their opinions are more likely to use a discussion platform). Lastly, as people have had significantly more experience with the stadium car, in addition to it's more forgiving steering (far harder to slide out/fall over), the reactions from these people who are also less likely to put in the time or at least see that they haven't put in the time needed, are likely to be more negative. People then see others complaining and then use that as the reason for them struggling, and jump on the bandwagon. In a way, players need the cars shoved down their throat in order to actually learn them. That aside, keeping majority stadium is definitely the best idea - the other cars should be treated as a smaller style such as ice or nascar and there can be a track or 2 of that style per campaign - if you want more of it you can, if you don't, that's fine. Not sure if this mess is at all coherent but oh well

I enjoyed the campaign though 😂 a few maps were straight garbage and I found that most were too simple, good players will gap bad players.

Don't compare yourself to someone who's been playing trackmania since he was a toddler

There are ways to get around the unlock if you really need, such as putting the map on a server or getting the map off tmx and opening it like any other downloaded map. But tbh, the snow car map is pretty good so some learning experience is not that bad. tldr you can bypass your skill issue if you really must

Yeah, original cars are great for people who are not stunlocked into stadium techmaps
