I completed this game with all golds about a year ago but felt I had a lot more trouble doing it than you. I decided to go back to the game more recently and get all Trackmasters in it and I’m very close to completing that goal which I thought I’d never be able to do after getting all golds. This is quite the achievement my friend. Congrats on the plat and welcome to the club.😁

a few hours , good luck , trackmania is 1 of the hardest driving games to master out there , years of play 1000,s of hours , and you probably still wont be 1 of the fast guy,s , untill you master all the strats and driving tricks , the raceing line is 1 tiny part
@@stevensmith797 I've unlocked Super Solo mode and until that point I thought the trackmaster times were pretty solid runs. Super Bronze makes Trackmaster look easy. 377th in the world but a million miles away from the top probaly 150 players. The 22 guys that have beaten Super Solo are racing game gods and I don't want to play them at Trackmania, Gran Turismo, Forza, Mario Kart... Another level completely.

The plat isn't too gruelling. You can do it! 200 trackmasters was a challenge. Already had 136 by the time I got the platinum Honestly 167, 170, 175, 176, 178, 180 and 186 are the hard levels. Thing is if you tend to just go balls to the wall and try to do things as fast as possible the game becomes a little easier. Ignore the gold time. A good run will smash it by seconds on all the later tracks.
@@Solomon_C drive to the right of the first loop and turn left a bit earlier than you’d normally do. Same with the left on the second loop. They are horrible and can ruin a good run but if you get enough runs there you’ll get past it.
@@Solomon_C btw this track made me stop playing for 4 years. When I finally finished the game I went straight back to this for the Trackmaster. It took 45 minutes. So it’s a flat out speed map, slowing down genuinely makes it a harder track.
Try it again. You'll break through the barrier. Mines was 170. Hated that level. Didn't play for years. Came back and smashed it in about an hours play.
He got all golds quick. I know the plat is done but I'd love to see a follow up with trackmaster attempts. Especially 175, 178 and 180. Those tracks were by far the worst to trackmaster.
Same here man. The feeling of finally smashing all 200 trackmasters. 175 was my last one. You feel invincible until you decide to have a look at Super Solo mode. 😢😂 I had 2 STM's and 11 Super Bronze. Fairly brought me back down to earth.

Just for information. Green medals are effectively the time that the author of the track has set. When you're making a map in trackmania, in order to prove that the map is doable you as a track author MUST validate the map yourself. That is, you need to drive from start to finish collecting all checkpoints. Once you do that, the game automatically will calculate gold, silver and bronze time relative to the author time. For example, if you set author time 60 seconds, then gold will be 1:06, silver 1:12, and bronze 1:18. It's roughly 10% increase each medal. So can imagine why trackmaster times (e.g. author times) are so challenging, because authors need set quite strong times so that gold medal is challenging enough.
good thing u didnt have to go for all 800 medals in the game. That honestly probably takes 1000 hours or more since the hardest target times (STMS) where set by pro players. I believe not even 100 people have gotten all of them so far lol. Anyways congratz on the plat.
Just finished this and 178 definitely gavevme my troubles but 184 is the other one that drove me crazy idk if i just mever got used to the lagoon car but yeah some annoying trackd in those sections.
Congrats on the plat! Trackmania is always one of those games where because the controls are so simple that the difficulty comes in track/level design, or just pure grinding.
Does he know that there are many bigger achievments than Plat? Trackmaster is like "good start" There is also Super Bronze Super Silver Supet Gold Super TrackMaster And D.U.C.K Platinum is nothing compared to these
thank you for the video :) it was a motivation for me to continue again :D I was stuck at level 178 and I´ve managed to complete the level on gold within 15 minutes of watching your vid and hyping myself up for the platinum trophy :) I really enjoy the content of getting a difficult platinum and also the process towards that goal :D as a achievement hunter myself xD so keep up the work :)
On 178 the gold ghost was doing double flips on the half pipe transitions. That makes it significantly easier. Although yes 178 was one of the hardest in the game
