Tracks work on a dozer or an excavator because on the weight. In this instance the track just acts as a conveyor taking mud from the back of the track to the front of the track, very counter-productive indeed.

@@getchasome6230 exactly an excavator just sinks right to the bottom and moves slowly as well with the ability to push or pull itself also its pretty damn hard to get one stuck lol

No lol,never.These tracks just not have deep lugs,they are for snow only.I am farmer i know how much better is tractor in mud with tracks compared to wheels.

Tracks are better in mud.. it's the shallow clearance that gets him hung up

I would imagine the GoPro on a helm would be pretty hard to keep mud off of for what these guys are doing the way they are filming sister perfect imo

In certain cases, for example where you can possibly stay higher in the mud or snow. I think this mud was just so wet that no matter what you were sinking right in. As Drongo Jonkins said, bigger lugs would probably have made it much better

It depends. Typically they're better for snow. Those tracks didn't have very deep treads though. That would have helped

+jpgee I'm not Osta, but I'll chime in anyways :D With any belt driven ATV, low is designed to be used for extended low speed riding, including towing, hill climbing, technical riding (rock climbing n stuff) and in mud. Using high in any of these mud holes while running huge tires or track would very quickly result in a ruined belt. As for the Scrambler, I'd like to know too xD

Ride in high in mud because low is ment for towing and rock climbing don't worry about your belt it will be fine. But overall high is made for mud

+wooden minecart completely incorrect, use low for everything except dry trail and road riding when running large mud tires

+wooden minecart Stop spamming bad advice on things you know nothing about please. High gear = bogged down motor = stuck. Also harder on the motor to pull that much load vs low gear spinning the tires much easier.

always low, the belt would be crying if you tried it in high. We only ever use hi gear for dry trail and roads. The scrammy does well...running a 6" Outkast lift and 31" Outlaws with dual RJWC exhaust
