Tractor And Lawnmower seat repair using Flex Seal and Spray Foam 

I wonder if you use some silicone caulking to cover the porous area and let dry of course and then use the spray flex seal would work?

I don't think it needs a third coat. I think it needs a whole new seat bottom.

I wonder how it looks now after being sat in for a few months? Did it contour smooth? This was a lot more reasonable than getting a new seat.

What about using flex seal tape??

On the foam, try a hacksaw blade

Shoot I would use bed liner and flex seal

Use some liquid sandpaper.

Too heavy of coats, way too heavy. Try 3-6 light coats
