Video captured by Norwalk Police Department Sgt. Dan Sefcik at around 5:40 a.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2024. shows flames and smoke billowing from the back end of a tractor-trailer beneath a bridge on I-95 in Norwalk.
When the air escapes the brake system they lock down hard and fast. Fire burns rubber hoses are rubber hoses burst air escapes. The distance between the other truck and the tanker is about how far I got when I had a brake chamber fail.
@@ihadto5533 At that point in the video the fire burned long enough to melt his rear trailer tires. His headlights are still on and the tractor appears fine. The thing was burning for a bit to smoke the tires. He had time to move up. Not a 4 wheeler btw. You know what they says about assumptions??
Fun fact this happened before: According to wikipedia At 10:20 am on November 2, 2007, a tanker truck carrying heating oil plowed over the divider, knocking the side of a tractor trailer and striking several other cars in its path. Three people were killed, including the driver of the tanker and the occupants of two cars that were completely destroyed in the crash. The driver of the tractor trailer survived (his canine companion emerged completely unharmed) but the trailer was split open. At least three other cars were involved in this accident. A part of the road was damaged and took until the next morning to fully reopen, partly due to a cleanup after the accident
He/she couldn't have pulled the truck up a few feet??? 95 is gonna be closed now for day's because ya couldn't use your brain to realize ur under a bridge with that much fuel on fire. Some people shouldn't be driving on the roads.
I hope you're joking... but if not you're obviously don't know anything about fuel hauling. When something like that happens there is no moving the truck.
@@ihadto5533 why not? It was still on its wheels . I mean we are talking about a matter of 10 to 15 yards 🤷 but then again I'm not a hauler of fuel so, what do I know.
the belief you have that a trucker hauling flammable cargo wouldnt know exactly what to do in this scenario. as if he'd be allowed by safety protocol to move his rig ANYWHERE after it caught light. Their regulation is probably to get the fuck away from the fire to avoid further liability on his company. Be real.
@LewdDewd-xw8gvelection season in a blue state and The Greatest President Trump is being run through a kangaroo court!! It's interesting how these things just pop up right before an election 🤔 A tanker explosion is very rare compared to an electric vehicle fire 🔥 We all know what is going on now!! This is the leftist attempt to fix an election just like 2020 when President Trump won but the left hijacked America 🇺🇸
