The Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League teamed up with Michigan International Speedway and Slusarski Exc. & Paving, Inc. to present the Watson Diesel Michigan Nationals! This inaugural event took place on a brand new track on the Graves Farm property. Session 2 included Super Stock Diesel Trucks, Mini Rod Tractors, Super Modified 2WD Trucks. Some of the pullers had some issues, including a couple of trucks that started on fire, but others made great passes down the track. Rain moved in and shortened the show unfortunately.

Track looks a little loose and could use some H2O?

It's pretty cool that they built a pulling track at MIS, but it looked like a lot of the competitors were having trouble hooking up to it. It looked like some roughness just off the starting line was keeping the diesel 4wd's from putting the power down. And the mini rods were having trouble even moving the sled at the start.

The first day, the track was dry and dusty, then overnight it rained, so they had to re-work the track in the morning before session 2 (this video) it was a struggle all 3 sessions over 2 days with the changing weather conditions, but I think they learned a lot and should have a lot better track next year.

E3 spark plugs sponsoring a diesel pull.......... which yes I know gas engines are in the competition but every time I find it on tv they are doing either tractor pulls or pick up pulls.

And your point, well evidently you don't watch many motorsports but, you always want to sponsor everything you can get your paws on, it always builds a better sport and more to watch, I'd put my money on that anyway, thank-you!

Why was the American on the left side of the sled? I believe it should be on the right side.
