No lie, best cover I've heard of this song ever. I'm a Tracy Chapman fan, and this is better than the original. Get to Nashville and play some shows. I'd love to make a date night with my wife to see you in some small venue around here.

This is one of my favorite songs of all time. I love Tracy Chapman. I have to say, I think she would be impressed with your cover of this. I've been a fan of Tracy Chapman's for well over 20 years, and there are very few decent covers of her songs. This one is actually pretty good, the pacing is a bit off and a few lines are missing, but I'm assuming that was on purpose. Keep up the good work.

This probably sounds very silly but this song always reminds me of my father. Not in a weird creepy way but when i was little and upset about something he would always sing to me and hearing you perform this brought tear. This song... Words cannot explain my love for Tracy Chapman. I usually cannot stand any covers of her songs, because they just cannot replicate the raw passion behind Tracy's voice. I am so goddamn thankful to say that you are a wonderful exception. This cover is just beautiful. Harmonies, even the guitar - everything was fantastic. Thank you for this cover. Absolutely lovely.

One of my favorite songs, and a wonderful rendition of it. I am a singer/actress myself and see so many singers on RU-vid with such poor technique and so many bad habits, it is refreshing to see someone so well trained. People don't realize singing takes PRACTICE! Yes, there is a baseline of talent needed but after that, it's just how hard you're willing to work. Love your tone, great phrasing, just a wonderful singer all around with a remarkable instrument. Keep practicing and best wishes!
