To Menwan Cellos. you are correct, man doesn"t deserve to be redeemed BUT because God loves us so much he ALLOWED His son to die for us. He could have saved His son and not allowed man to crucify Him But He did allow it so that we might be saved. I hope someday if you haven"t already that you will experience God on a personal level. Hi my name is Thomas there's a gentleman on here that made a comment really could not or will not stand for he said he liked the old song set for the Last Stand lyrics which is fine it's his opinion I am 58 years old I've had 6 heart surgeries and I still pass out I have a pacemaker in me they moved my valve in my heart in other countless surgeries I cannot figure out what's going on I know I have done lots of bad in my life I know I will never make it to heaven but I do know I will never make it the hell either I don't live in a glass house I will never throw the first stone at somebody for I know my past is bad but why do so many Christians have to degrade people I do not understand the Bible does not say this grade somebody Jesus never did if there is a Jesus I believe in a higher power see I know my life is over and I know that I will die soon I am losing everything I'm losing my house and my truck and everything else my job I'm not at very often anymore I work construction is a very hard physical job can have a good hard for that and I don't have a good heart but I am trying so why do Christians have to degrade people that are trying to live life uplift them like the Bible says in Jesus says uplift them show them love hate the sin and love the person that is what the Bible says but most Christians hate the person and hate the sin I do not understand they say I'm crazy I think Christians are crazy
Tom, getting to Heaven doesn't depend on what we've done, thank God! It depends on admitting that Jesus is the Son of God, and died for OUR sins. Your sin debt is paid already - He paid it for you. That is His gift- all you have to do is RECEIVE His gift. Admit you are a sinner, ask for forgiveness, acknowledge you know He died for you, and you want to live for Him from now on - that's it, my friend. If you sincerely believe that when you pray it, that's all it takes. NONE of us can ever work their way to Heaven. I pray you will accept this as truth, and that I will see you there someday. (There are only 2 places in eternity: Heaven or Hell, there is no in between) Take care
