Bless you Tracy Lawrence. You definitely are a survivor. I know that God was watching out for you when you got shot and God had other plans for you. God knew that you were meant to sing. My favorite song is Alibis. You have been through a lot Tracy and you are a better person for it. God bless you Tracy Lawrence.

Actually, it derailed because he refused to conform to the industry. They wanted him to change his style to move towards pop and he said nope. So, they blacklisted him. He wanted it to keep sounding traditional.
