One guy actually. Martina is being played by a guy. And she is not playing a trans woman or anything like that just playing a woman. A long history of that in comedy.

While its so so sad we lost John (Mr.Lahey) Im thankful he wasnt able to see the $hit $how you all have turned this into now! How awfully embarrasing it would have been for that poor man, who took acting SERIOUSLY! Its a shame, once a GREAT Canadian classic, reduced to this pile of steaming dog.......

He's not playing a trans person though. The character is a woman. A long history of men playing woman characters in comedy. Monty python did it. Kids In The Hall did it, SCTV did it, the Madea movies, Flip Wilson, etc.
