7:54 My dad used to get drunk and fall asleep on the toilet. We used to find him and take bets on who could knock off his hat or glasses with a nerf ball without him waking up. It was a blast lol
@Hassan Eskirjeh ... I love the military, I love my brothers and my sisters that I served with, but the one thing we all would agree on is that nobody wants to go to war. I don't know if you ever been to war before, but it's really nasty maybe the next thing to Hell on Earth. So please save your sarcasm, if I can go back in time of course I would want no one ((American or Iraq)) too go to war, but to get on me about something 14 years ago, I'm just glad that I was at least man enough to stand up for my country when we were told about weapons of mass destruction at the time. If it were anything to happen at home I would have been right there on the front line to do what I had to do also, to take care of my people here also. Have you ever signed up for the service? Have you ever thought of protecting your country?
I had a close family member hooked on that stuff, she aint with us no more. I had to see her nodding out many times, admittedly, i loved this bit a lot for years, but i have to turn it off when he starts doing the falling asleep part.
It's amazing how he can make such sad stories seem so funny. If anyone else tried to tell those stories, it would be really depressing and you'd just want to walk away. That is the brilliance of Tracy Morgan.
@@dougwood8614 I am just going off of what I've seen Miss. Ive seen a lot of junkies and Tracy does a really good impression of them. I don't see how you could really take my comment as arrogant. Who hurt you?

This is strangely beautiful. Vivid, poignant! Sad! Funny! The laughs went from hilarious to uncomfortable. Real edgy! They don’t make ‘em like this no more. Legendary
@@jamespfitz A Open drug use, recognized and acknowledged addiction, war veterans, dysfunctional families. There's a lot he's talking about that's outside my realm of experience.
I love how deadpan he is in this clip. I think people that don't like this are expecting him to be as crazy as he is on 30 rock. In my opinion deadpan is much funnier than that.

He low-key dropped one of the most overlooked facts in history, that they found traces of cocaine (and tobacco) in an Egyptian tomb... Those plants are from America. History changing tidbit.
People who don't think this is funny most likely aren't black, or probably don't have a sick sense of humor. The leg blow'd off bit was something mostly a black person would relate to. Also, the movies he was naming were "black" movies. His humor is just extremely sick, but it is hilarious if you have an open mind and know his references. A couple times he went a little over the top, but most if it was hilarious and true.
This is sad, but he puts a funny spin on it. My stepdad used to nod out and watch the repeated dvd menu sequences for like 2 hours. Looking exactly how Tracy does it.
Can I ask what part of the world this happened? I was in the Meth Belt, North Texas but there were a few heroine users... found out my dad was one of the latter group while I was worried about falling into the former
I can relate with this set.... I grew up with people like that .. as a kid I witnessed heroine addiction all around me... that's just how it was in Bronx New York in the 80's.... he hit it dead on
hahahah you can tell that the guy at 0:11 has never tried coke; he's proud of that fact. He is just thinking, "I AM staying off 'that cocaine God dammit' thank you very much."
This is one of my all time favorite stand up clips. This is absolutely fearless and hysterical. His commitment to staring down a crowd is incredible and magnifies the hilarity.
Yea took me a while to realize this shit isn't funny to me. Even the crowd was confused laughing at some points. Like when he says they refuse to help the handicap dude up the stairs. How is that funny? "He had to use his ass to go up them stairs"
Holy shit I'm from the hood in San Antonio TX and GOD DAMN was he on point with the drug jokes lmao even IN my family, and we're mexican but it's still the same lol
Man I remember back in the days growing up in the same projects with him. Shout out to. Tompkins pjs. Brooklyn ny.. Bedstuy do or die. Back in the day he use to batlle my man almost everyday in the park. Man funny shit back then
Dr.Black Phil the problem is you cannot accurately tell if you’re able to have a healthy relationship with it untill it’s too late, so don’t dance with the devil
@@Hehawtyragu well like I said if you use it correctly, never said it would be easy. Tho substances imo are a tool to help further our evolution. Plus I do think the reason people mostly get addicted is not just souly because of the drug, other factors like life perspective and social norms etc have an effect. Personally I would not have a problem with cocaine, because I don't enjoy it as much. Alcohol would maybe be closest to the devil, other shit could help you (if used correctly) dance with God.
Dr.Black Phil lol cocaine defiantly isn’t a drug that could be used to further our evolution, it’s completely genetic, it’s impossible to tell if you’ll be the one who gets hooked on it unless you have a relative mainly a parent who is, explain how if you ask any addict if they thought they would get addicted 100% of them would say no
It wasn't supposed to be that funny, but he always adds a twist. Product of his Environment. I laughed and cried while watching this clip alone. The only way to get over it is to find a way to laugh and connect. Tracy Morgan is a good man.
(lol) my friend used to do heroin & I used to call him ... THE SHERRIF OF NODDINGHAM (lol) cuz he was always nodding out. I think thats classic & creative of me
