Those whitetails are string jumpin sons a guns. Your shot was perfect but he still tried to duck it! Every video I watch on RU-vid, they always try to duck the arrow!
More than a couple inches. Fix your eye on the leaf above the line of the back before the arrow was released. Notice how far down the line of the back is below that leaf when the arrow arrives. Near 8" of difference. The doe was tipping him off and he ducked deep to leave the scene. Glad the broadhead did its job so well.
