Fibonacci calculation should be from pivot point not from high or low, that is exteblnsion not retracement. (H+l+c)/3 + (h-l)*0.382 and so on. On the sell side pivot - (h-l)*0.382 and so on. Tools are made according to this formula, anyone can check

I find that for intraday forex trend trading most important relevant (Guide)trend direction is ON 15 minute, 1h and 4h charts only-- For intraday trading weekly & monthly trends do not matter much(too far removed from intraday field of activity) & can be ignored. For simplicity sake if 15 minute ,1h & 4h trends are in the same direction, you have a trade set up in the same direction (one could fine tune entry 0n 5 minute charts). In general if daily candle be in the same direction for any trade it is better but not A must.--Sir, what do you have to say--Any modifications?

I have altered fibonaci to help with trade calculations like 1::3 and so on. I missed to mention I am using MT5. The alteration is carried out here. Is there a possibility to get the previous setting back. I know a similar strategy of your which previous days 1 hour ahead closing.

Sir second candle of 5m should cross the first candle..or any other candle should cross the first candle

when plotting FIB retracement it gives only retracement not any target. (Zeroda and trading view) are you talking about Trend based FIB extention? or which platform you are using?

Sir, wouldn't it help to use EMA with OR VBA? Because after Nifty hit TP, we automatically know by looking at the chart that its going to retrace towards EMA Lines. So we could re enter the trade in opposite direction.

I have been trying this technique and mostly 1.618 is the target to beat on a normal trending day and if it is news based like hdfc merger then try your luck for max as trend is very fast. tried it using fib on previous day high/low breakout as now a days most traders are waiting for this breakout to enter. in such case also the max target generally works for 1.618.
