I’m pretty sure our grocery list was the exact same every week. We never changed chips, cereals or cookies. I love that my kids try so many things. Honestly, they get to try a lot of things bc of you! You try them and let us know if it’s worth the buy. Takes out the problem of “is it going to be worth it?” So my kids adventurous taste buds thank you!!
I'm not a dessert person but I had a friend for dinner and grabbed this at TJs last minute with little expectations. Wow, I was surprised at how delicious this is. When I'm in the store and I see people looking at the Danish Pastry I tell them to get they will love it.
7 reviews in one day Tami! That has to be some kind of record LOL. Is it because tomorrow is a holiday and you won't be posting any or is this just a nice bonus day for us? 😊 I do wish y'all a happy safe and fun holiday! 🇺🇲
Six were posted today :) The BBQ video was posted yesterday afternoon. I've had this channel for 13 years and I don't believe a day has ever passed without me posting. I have never taken off for a holiday :)
@@TamiDunn We appreciate that so much, too. You work hard to always have uploads and always put so much care and thought into every single moment of them! Thank you so much and I hope you have a terrific Independence Day!
This is the review I have been waiting for! Ever since you put it in your cart and showed it on Instagram I have been clamoring for it! I loved the description of a custard filling as that is very hard to find in store-bought products! Although the nearest trader Joe's is 2 hours away which is kind of a bummer, as long as I have other stops to make there it will definitely be worth the trip based on your review! I think I might even try it with a little bit of strawberry jam. I think that would be delicious
My mom always bought our staples, but she also bought us new things regularly if they were on sale. Though obviously it was stuff she'd think we'd enjoy, like a new cereal or whatever... Nothing crazy.
For once a serving size that’s realistic! This looks good, especially heated, but having to heat up an oven for a 4 minute cook time seems a bit of a waste. Thanks for the review.
This reminds me a lot of the Skinner Cheese Danich Coffee Cakes that Pick N Save sells. I wouldn't heat this up as I don't want warm custard or cheese in my pastry. I dunk the ends in coffee and eat the filling part, then dunk the last of the Danish part. Those coffee cakes are pretty good, the same size, come in 5 different varieties, 6 in Fall, with the seasonal Pumpkin, and are only $3.99. I don't know that I would go out of my way for this, but if I was at TJ, I might pick it up to try.
@@TamiDunn I'm the same way. The way the bus routes are to get to Trader Joe's is a bit harder since they re-routed the system, it's a pain to get there, so when I go to TJ's, I load my backpack. If I'm even slightly interested, I grab it, because I know it will be a couple months before I go back.
Interesting! I would have thought it would be a cheese filling, but custard is much yummier! Also funny - just like the Twinkies, first 2 ingredients the same again. heheh Like the Twinkies, nothing real in them. Still yummy!
I looked at it last week but ended up not purchasing. I need to get next time. The O&H Kringle, almond flavor is still my no. 1 item that Trader Joe's sells. I buy six of them during holiday season and put in the freezer.

I'm impressed. It's just missing the sugar and hazelnut flacks on top then it's almost there. Hats off to Trader Joe's... It should be flaky, flaky. Looks a little soggy to me but decent.
We were the same! We bought the same things each week. We did grow most of our food. 8 haven’t seen this at my local Trader Joe’s and I was just there Monday! It seems my store is always a week or 2 behind others. I love a good flaky pastry. I will definitely be looking for this. Great review.
@@TamiDunn 😆 We grew everything, including watermelon, cantaloupe and grapes vines. I grew up helping in our gardens and a lot of canning. The only thing we didn’t have was cows. We had chickens.
